Guys....they cut out the end!!! AND the beginning!!!
They cut the beginning where Eureka has a monologue about how she wants to be with Renton and the kids, ans wishes she could. They show her in the center of the scab coral, it's beautiful.....
They cut out the part at the end of the last episode where Maurice, Maeter and Linc are with Axel Thurston at a diner eating. They must've gone to live with him....
They go to see the moon and there's a heart on the moon that I think says "Renton and Eureka". And then the scene changes to show Eureka Renton in the forest together after Axel says "Hurry up and come home"....
I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY CUT IT!!!!
They showed on the friday night Fix version...you guys need to watch the DVDs, because that's the scene that ties it all together!!! gonk EDIT: Kayako 99 Hey everyone...

Kayako 99 Soren DeGali Just found this on a site: "Cartoon Network's Adult Swim staffer Merrill Hagen posted on its website Monday evening that Eureka 7's last episode will re-air on the evening of Saturday, May 5 (morning of Sunday, May 6) at 1 a.m. According to Hagen, 'Kim [Manning, Adult Swim program/scheduling manager] pulled some strings to have it rebroadcast. Some of you may still have some issues with it, but this is the best that we are allowed to show. I hope you guys know that we would never butcher a show just to mess with you.' Adult Swim is also exploring a possible rerun on the Adult Swim Fix streaming service."

That has got to be one of the most amazing, spectacular, and yet confusing endings I've ever seen. I haven't been this... whatever the crap I'm feeling since the ending of Wolf's Rain.
OH. Em. FREAKING. GEE. O____O
I can't believe it's over!! gonk And I can't believe they cut those parts out!! gonk The beginning makes no sense without Eureka's monologue and the ending seems... well, as it obviously was, unfinished!
Now I have to go watch that AMV I found to Phil Collin's You'll Be In My Heart. And the beginning and ending of tonight's episode.
And I have GOT to get the dvds!! O___O
EDIT: I think I figured a reason as to why they cut out those parts. A little thing called.... Time constraints. That's probably why the beginning and ending sequences are usually cut down to what they are. It's not that they hate us and want to anger us this way, it's just that they can't anger the advertising gods that rule over them and give them money. At least there's only one commercial break, anyway. But, yeah. That's the most likely (and logical) reason as to why those parts got cut out.

You forget Rekka-If they would've cut out the ending and opening THEME SONGS, there would've been PLENTY of room for at least the last scene!! gonk
Who cares about the songs-it's the SHOW man!!!
Anyways, I hope you find it Rekka cause it really doesn't make sense without the final scene. stare
I'm buying all the dvds, just because I can. If I ever get the proper equipment, I'll even start posting eps on YouTube just so everyone can see it UNCUT!!
Now I wonder what else they may have kept from us...I MUST watch it over on dvd form!!!
