Race: Doppleganger* (Undead)
Appearance: Currently, she's looking human. She's tan. Her hair is pinkish red and kept in an unlikely hairstyle. Her eyes are sky blue. Average build, nor short nor tall, nothing special about her. She wears black and white clothes.
Personality: Musashi is mostly friendly. Rather polite, she dislikes confrontation. However, she's snarky and ironic. While doing okay in society, she doesn't suffer from loneliness. Mood swings happen rather often. Minor memory losses or confusion aren't unknown to her.
History: A few years ago, Musashi lost most of her memories while impersonating a redhead. She never got to meet the real person, and never knew when exactly the human died. Meanwhile, Jovee, a manipulative Aoide, tried to tell her she was the perfect host for her "Goddess". The doppleganger recovered most of her mind a few months before her last "death" at the hand of some demon-and-undead killer. She was lucky enough to hide her monstrous body from everyone's eyes when she shifted into the closest girl with a dark past. Today, Musashi is less naive, but still confused at time, given her memories are a mess. Oh, and since she's sometimes tired of her life... death... un-death... existence, she's okay with the idea of giving her soul and body to a superior being if it is supposed to happen.

Dislikes: informatic bugs, priests, blessings, rats, other shapeshifters, mirrors, kids.
*In her dimension, dopplegangers are undead creatures. They are born from negative emotions around a single individual, which then take over the nearest dead body and transform it, giving it consciousness. Their real form are humanoid, naked monsters with varying decomposition and colour depending on the individuals. Their most disturbing features however are their completely featureless heads and their blank eyes and mouth on the chest.
Their real form aren't often witnessed because they spend 90% of their lives, taking the appearance of someone else. When they do so, they completely mimic their physical appearance, but also their voice, quirks, and small memory parts with more or less success. They are known to be otherwise creepy people, tricksters, dark individuals, or all of them.
When taking the appearance of someone (who has to be alive), a few natural laws keep them alive more easily: they can only be killed for good by their real counterpart and are immune to all kinds of curses and blessings. When their alter ego die, however, while they can keep their appearance, they can be killed by anyone else and are weak to anything, including diseases. If death is about to occur, they have to give up their current form and choose quickly someone else, who's alive, to mimic them again, and start over the whole cycle of life and death.
Technically, Dopplegangers are immortal just like zombies and ghouls, but they have a lot more occasions to meet death.
It is very common for Dopplegangers not to know anymore whether what they remember are their alter ego's memories, a previous victim's, or their own. In the past, they were as nefarious as imps, but now it is more difficult to impersonate someone without having the right papers or passwords. Therefore, they are more civilized and less likely to drive their victim to death or madness, but they are still sadistic tricksters.
