Asalam alakum.
Hey, I was wondering what other muslim girls do to survive the long summer months. Where I live it can get really really hot in mid-summer, but I was curious about what other girls do.

I do things with my female friends. I don't get what the problem is. Just go swimming with your female friends if you want.

I live in a place that's pretty much hot year-long. Hot and Humid. And I'm totally fine.
It's all about adapting. I kinda find myself even a little cold at times when it's not as hot as it usually is.
Plus, the hijab kinda blocks the sunrays from overheating my head. Yknow, where your hair just absorbs all taht light and it burns to touch.. nyaar. It works for me.

Eh, I just hang out, and the hijab actually feels nice in summer. x] I love summer. Only six more weeks of pure torture left until it.

Wearing the hijab in England can be alright at times. But sometimes with hot temperatures, I just wear long clotes which are made of a thinner fabric. Stay in cool environments. I really do miss going swimming when I want to sweatdrop Inshallah I will go swimming with my female friends soonies.

Yeah, for me it comes in handy during winter, but it's a pain in the butt during summer.

You mean how do I deal with the temptation of ripping my clothes off, dumping a bucket of cold water on myself, and then standing infront of a fan? I must admit, it's really hard..when I see my dad prancing around the house all day, shirtless and in his "man skirt" as I like to call it, it drives me nuts. Lmao.
I live in the south of the United States, houston TX to be specific, and we truthfully do experience the hottest temperatures in the U.S. occasionally. This summer's average is a 102 degrees so far. It's insanely hot. I can't go outside and come back inside for a few minutes without turning to the color of a rotten peach. D:
eeehhh. D:
my dad is also VERY picky about the Air conditioner being on because of the high prices, D:, so I'm basically sweating 24-7. It's also the reason why I LOVE going to stores and other people's houses during the summer. I wanna bask in their nice cold air conditioning. xD I'ma freeee loader. xD
So what do I do when I'm not at a store or someone else's house? take frequent showers. niiiicce cooolld showers. xD and drink water nonstop.
I don't even have a blanket on my bed. xp
