Asalam alakum.

Has anyone heard about the shooting at Virgina Tech University that happened on Monday? It's all over the newspapers where I am.

Its on the newspapers everywhere. And the news.

I was reading about the lives of those who died... and man, so many of them were doing incredible things. This moron with some guns just took away a good deal of good from the world.

And man! That Holocaust Survivor teacher who was 76 and sacrificed himself by holding the door while the other students jumped out the window.. that's just... wow. Poor guy, really.

But, even then.. the whole thing sorta makes me curious. Like, I WANNA see the whole video the kid made and read his disturbing plays... Haha, I heard they sucked.

Honestly, though, people who feel ostracized by others and act out like that guy need to get a grip. They make the situation of other people like them so much worse.

Didn't a judge say the guy had problems? So they knew about it... they just didn't do much about it apparently. I didn't look much into this, though. I think the news crews and the media should leave the place because students should be able to get on with their lives.

He did have some problems, and ti was so sad watching their parents cry, and the ones of the Indonesian kid were wailing. D: Oh my.

I just don't understand if the teachers and everyone were seeing that madness in him..they should've sent him to an asylum in the first place!!!! mad

Well, they probubly didn't think he would be this violent.

He did have a lot of problems. He moved here form South Korea when he was 8 and was teased a lot because he couldn't talk properly, and didn't have any friends.

You know the scary thing is...

there's a kid JUST like that guy in my class.

He's korean and he doesn't talk at ALL... and when he does talk, it's really accented and sounds really bad.

And I see sometimes people would walk up and say hi to him, and he would just look at them...

Not saying OMGWHATIFHE'SGONNAKILLUSTOO... more like, if he's feeling bad about people, we'd like to know. But he just doesn't respond much... eh..

He's apparently smart, though. He's in our AP Biology class.

That shooting only proved that someone's life has to be taken away in order for change to happen; in all truth.
That goes for all other life that was taken away in such a manner, something to learn from it.

I mean, if you see someone lonely and you think they're sad because of it, you should go talk to them. It's Islamic to do so, be kind to others.
