Hello fellow Gaian merchants. As you can see from my siggy, I have a very big dream to fulfill, but I can't seem to make more gold, other than posting. I do have an avi shop, but a girl can only draw so fast. I've heard people vend, but I don't know what I"m doing sweatdrop , can someone give me some tips and strategies.

Get familior with the best selling commons (or event items, or donation items) in the store. Memorize their prices. Buy low at updates, sealed openings, and such and sell for 1g less than the next lowest.

All vending strategies boil down to the same thing: buy low and sell high.
I think the best way to do that is to start by specializing in a couple of items that are in the price range you're comfortable in dealing in. As Lupas Deva said, watch those prices so you know when something is a good deal and when it isn't.

I think the best is to watch only 1-2 items each day. Because you can't memorize 20 items prices, and they can be lower than the lower price you saw it 3 hours ago (Lunar Cloak for example)
So just watch two items (it can be easy to watch a couple of items, like Guitar (2 items) and Zony (2). Then when you see a price very low compared to the next lower price, buy it, and sell it a little higher, just a bit lower than the (not so now) next lowest price. So you can for each operation Gain from 1k to... 50k for the best situation (or even 100-200k for the higher items)
A day I won 33k in buying a 25k Ancient Katana. But the key is "fast". Just be as quick you can. You'll not won each time but well... it's a game

You'll not won each time but well... it's a game This is what I do as well, the marketplace fastprice really helps, I earned a ton of gold using it just recently when the letters were opened last weekend. I even found a couple that had been listed at very low prices only 1k and such and resold for 17k, I felt kind of bad because I've made a typo when selling in the marketplace before (I sold something for 2 gold rather than 2k gold oops!). but especially the days when the letters open you can really earn a lot by using this method
