stare It would've been ok if "anime newbs" didn't crawl all over it...U.U;; But I guess they have to start somewhere... I'm not a big fan of it and I was afraid someone was going to post it....U.U;; Just promise me people that you won't post Inuyasha... The only good character is Rock Lee. : D

Don't bash the Naruto dub. It's a lot better than most I've seen. Especially the Shaman King dub, sadly. At least they stick true to the anime. If you pay attention, Naruto always says 'Dattebayo' in the sub too. So if the 'Believe It' is bugging you, then why aren't you bothered with the original?
Tch, we all know that Ino rules all. x3 But yeah, I like Rock Lee too, he's so funny... And he's what makes Neji train with Tenten, the only other person he deems 'sane' in his team. *is a NejiTen and ShikaIno fan*
As for the thing about the 'anime newbs' I'd have to agree. I hesitated watching it because of them too. I thought that perhaps the fans were giving it too much credit and I would be let down when I actually did watch it... And I was. But I believed that it was 'okay' enough to watch. Eventually I turned into a fan myself, but not one of those rabid ones that talk like they know what's going to happen. -.- No one expected Asuma to die, but he did, didn't he?

I laughed when I read your post Dana (not aloud of course...<.< >.>;; ) because I agree!
Gaara is ok...but he's kind of...scary(?) He and Sasuke are too obvious though...it bugs me. Escpecially Sasuke.
The dub isn't bad, Momiji...I've seen it a few times and personally I like Yuri Lowenthal's voice (U.U except when he did Goku...I kind of felt bad for him, because he and his fellow "saiyuki" comrads are good voice actors...I just wish they knew what they were getting into when they signed on for Saiyuki...many rabid fans were p*ssed off, to say the least, that Geneon got Saiyuki and not ADV (the people who were originally dubbing it)).
And Yesh, I do like Rock Lee, and it's because of the dub that I like him. : D he's voiced by one of my ABSOLUTE fav (but rarely known) VAs! Brian Donovan. He's more so known for his role as Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya in Digimon 02.

The dubbed version is a problem. When people talk, the speech doesn't match the frames!

I agree. I know two ''anime newbs'' IRL....
I reallyreally dislike all the wannabe otaku who're all like:
"OMG Sasuke!! OMG Sakura! OMG they should like totally get together and like OMG I wish I was Sakura!!"
ARGH!! They get on my nerves!!
My favorite character is Shino.....*yay*
Rock Lee is cool,but he's a little....strange...if you get my meaning.
I don't like Gaara because he's also a wannabe otaku magnet...

...don't misunderstand me, plz. I don't like the dub for one reason and one reason only: It's on Toonami and it's dubbed by us. Americans and Koreans (sorry...not trying to be racist...) dub Japanese horribly. As well as the Chinese...
heh, I LOVE Lee and Shino's voices!!! (Shino is also Uryu, from Bleach, and Ken, from Digimon, and Lee is Daisuke, or Davis from Digimon) But Gaara does creep me out in the dub version.
They did mess up big time on the shaman king dub, didn't they? XD
I was watching Naruto WAY before the stupid anime newbs got to it, and were all like, "OMG!!! Sasuke is HOT!! And Gaara s HOT too!! And OMG, NaRUto is, like, so CUTE!!" stressed I hate ity when they do that...

Lee rules. Whenever I RP as him, I love bringing up 'youth' like "Do not frown! For youth will shine upon your day!" ...Okay, that one was really weak, but really! Anyway...
I LOVE Gaara's dubbed voice. Why? Because he voiced Dist the Reaper/Runny/Rose from Tales of the Abyss! One of my FAVORITE video games EVA!!! And you know that I'm telling the truth because I rarely use 'Eva' anywhere... And Sasuke's voice was pretty good too, considering he also voiced Luke fon Fabre in Tales of the Abyss as well. =D It was a dream come true for a TotA fan such as myself... Now everytime I watch the dubbed Gaara vs. Sasuke fight, I laugh quietly to myself.
I hate anime newbs. And it really makes me embarrassed when I go on TV Anime boards, trying to find someone I can calmly discuss NejiTen and NejiHina with. Then I saw a 'NejiTen-What's your opinion?' board. It was good and a well known NejiHina fan (well-known by my standards anyway) came on the board and gave a good argument. So then some other NejiTen fans came up and posted, 'NejiTen rules! I HATE NejiHina because it's just SICK. They're cousins, people!' =.= And on the first post, it was stated that sometimes, it's normal for cousins to get married in Asia/Japan/other countries. I was disgusted at the amount of terrible arguments people gave. D=

yes, anime n00bs are hard to deal with...(like my step sisters, always asking who's that? and what's going on" it's like watching RHPS with a two year old!!)
yes, Lee rules. But the reason I don't like Gaara's voice is because it sounds too scrachy...and they made Shuukaku a COWBOY...that was weird...
I still have yet to play TotA, so I wouldn't know...

The person who plays Luke fon Fabre (the guy with the long red hair) is Sasuke's voice actor. The person who plays Dist is also Gaara's voice actor. 3nodding Tenten's voice sounds....weird. I especially hate Neji's though. I think Ino's kinda suits her though.

I like Ino's voice, but I can't help but laugh because Suzy, from Zatch Bell, does it. So many contrasting personalities, like Sephiroth's voice was done by Superman...
I know how weird Dist the Rose's laugh is. My friend showed it to me, and told me about the game becasue she recently beat it. (not trying to deny your friendlyness, make you think that I think that I'm better thatn you, or deny your kindness. I also can't use the sound on this computer or my mom would find me...)
He's funny though. But I stil think that Gaara has a creepy voice... stare

Gaara's voice is fairly creepy, I suppose... But I heard of others that are a lot creepieer.

Also, maybe for the asians cousins getting married is ok, but here it is not. Even I dislike that idea of the cousin thingy...it's just how we're raised. I can respect it, but I don't necessarily like it. : D It's like in Spiral with Kousuke and Ryoko...they're like...half siblings...@_@;; and people pair them together...(their position is difficult to explain, because you have to read between the lines and know their secrets to know they're half-siblings in a sort of way). momijikk yes, anime n00bs are hard to deal with...
