By chance, I went to a trade center with three friends yesterday for a headboard and they were having an alternative healing/energy/psychic energy/health/gemstone show going on. I found an interesting booth with a machine that supposedly read auras:
Info on Auras: http://www.crystalinks.com/aura.html
More info on this aura "photograph" procedure can be found here: http://www.aura.net/flash_e/index.shtml
Info on the Indigo Children phenomenon: http://www.namastecafe.com/evolution/indigo/#canyoutell
Now all of the glittering gems and polished stones made my eyes kind of gloss over-but this one booth just kept drawing my attention, over and over. The booth claimed to be able to take a picture of your aura, or if you put your hand on this machine, the electromagnetic waves would find all the different aspects of the aura. In short: I finally just had to do it, my friends also had it done, and then the woman told us that were were also part of the generation called the "indigo children."
There is a lot of debate over whether an "aura" is just a simple biofeedback, or if each one gives great insight into each individual person, about spiritual, mental, life goals and issues, etc.
The indigo phenomenon is also highly debated. Some people do not believe that the new generations are spiritually/energy vibration-wise, "evolving", whereas other do, and believe that they themselves could be one of the new "Indigos".
I decided I just had to do it. The woman said these ridges on the left, in this big fuschia spot showed that I had two spirit guides, and that I had two angels in this big, slightly greenish yellow area all across my head. I had just a whole rainbow of colors...a lot of fuschia, white at my feet, yellows and greens, and red orange. It also claimed to measure how much the chakras were opened/balanced/aligned. My third eye chakra was by far the most opened, second was the solar plexus, and third the sacral. My heart chakra was the only one that was not very open, which oddly enough made sense since I had just gotten in a huge fight with my girlfriend for two whole days before that.
My friends joined me, and supposedly our auras were some of the brightest ones seen on the machine, all roughly at 90%.
She then stopped us before we left and told us she knew we were all some of the first wave of the "indigo children." What was odd was how we just all sort of expected it, took this all in quite well like we already knew it... We weren't all like, whoah, wait, WHAT? Even though, especially Gary and Stephanie, had never ever heard of that term before.
I apologize if this is in an incorrect format or section. I just felt it was mildly interesting enough to share...

What I've heard, though I may be wrong, is that Indigo children all seem to have ADHD... There's a friend of the family who seems to think that I am one, but I personally don't know enough about them to make any sort of judgment at all...

Oh wow... I took that indigo children test and I think I might be one. eek COOL! Altho I can't be sure because if Sea Rhapsody's theory is correct then I'm probably wrong. I don't think I have ADHD.
EDIT: Aww I don't know anywhere that I can get an aura photo done but I really one one. Know any places it can be done online? I really want to find out what it's like.
EDIT AGAIN: Hmm... maybe I am an indigo child? If I focus on a person I can see light around them, but I can't (yet?) see any colour except white. Any idea what this means?

Don't worry... I don't think you have to have ADHD to be an indigo child... I think that it's just that some Indigo children are mistaken as ADHD children or something...
