A bunch of Lex/Lana and Clark/Lois fans have joined forces and started a campaign to have our voices heard. Be sure to read on about the project and how you can help save your couple.
According to Japanese lore, one who makes 1000 paper cranes is granted his/her wish. The Tsuru Project, which began in 2005, will resume the goal of 1000 paper cranes by finishing the remaining 700. Through these cranes Smallville fans can uniquely express their Season 7 wishes to TPTB. In addition, these cranes are messages of our hope and promise for future peace in the world, as a portion of these cranes will be sent to the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan.
While the project is a TEMK or Clois/Lexana-sponsored project, you don't need to be fans of BOTH 'ships or all characters to participate. The thrust of this campaign is really a general desire to compel the show to move forward and not remain mired in the same storylines over and over again. Also, with the paper cranes being a symbol of peace, the campaign will serve as a reminder that together we can work together to actively seek and promote understanding and peace in every aspect our lives.
