last december i went to california for the holidays and went for only a gonk one-day trip gonk to disneyland and went on the pirates of the caribbean ride 4laugh !!

I went on the one in WDW. Not the new one, but the old one. I got a video tape of it and everything. I have something to remember what is now lost. should of got a tape of extraTERRORestrialAlienEncounter. probably wouldn't of come out well sweatdrop
Really the ride was the only reason I saw the first movie.

I live in California so I go to Disneyland a lot and everytime I go, I go on the Pirates ride. They added Jack Sparroe now. It's SO cool!

Yea our beloved Captain is in 3 diffrent locations (or maybe 4???)

I haven't been on since they ruined changed it by adding Jack and Davy Jones and Barbossa.
I think I'm the only person who's disappointed that they did that. gonk

Yep, I went to California over spring break for a band trip, and me and my friends went on the ride twice. I was just so much more excited to see all the stuff they added from the movies! Especially Davy Jones floating head in the beginning (and the quick drop shortly afterwards), Barbossa on the pirate ship, and of course all the Jack Sparrow elements!

Of course I've been on it! My entire family is basically raised on Disney, so it would be hard to avoid. As for the new additions? Most it I could give or take, but I do really like the part with Davy Jones, but that's mostly beacause I'm a DJ nut.

Oh yes! I rode it before rennovations in Disney World and then after rennovations in Disney World and Disneyland. Did you know that the Disneyland version is set in the Baiyous of New Orleans and that Tia Dalma's shack is modeled after it?

I went to Disneyworld in January and After the Fox and I got on the first bateux of the day!!! biggrin It was exciting, and we went back for seconds later. heart

I think i rode it way back when. I remeber explosions and fire and scary things.....Hard for me to associate that with the movies stressed
