A fourth edition starter, and some boosters.
The first pre-con deck I bought after that was Aurochs Stampede. xd

first deck? a random assortment of cards from all five colors. surprisingly it wasn't that bad for a first deck, nor was it that bad for a five color deck. each color did it's own thing.... uh... Green had all cards costing 4 or less, with rampant growth and Quirion Elves. so, heavy mana acceleration. Black and White were weenie with some lifegain, and a little life drain. Red had a Trained Orgg and a bunch of Burn, and Blue had two counterspells a Vizzerdrix and some weenie wizards. I never won with it, but since i had only 50 non land cards to build my deck out of, i had some patheticaly close games.

My first deck was a black deck my husband helped me build. I still have a varriation of it, but it had the Singir Vampire and some faceless Butchers, Soul scourges, and a few other things in it. I loved it so much, and it worked well enough, that I've only modded it a little bit, and this was about 5 years ago.

My first deck was a kinda elf beatdown thing my cousin threw together for me back when I was in middle school.
Llanwar Elves, Priest of Titania, Scryb Sprites, Giant Growth, Fog, and some other small green spells with Stream of Life too. Too bad she didn't have anything like Overrun or Might of Oaks. Oh well.

Oh well. my first elf deck didn't run any of those. although i'm not sure how it actually worked anymore. it ran elves and fatties. except, that when it was first modelled in Onslaught the biggest fatty was kamahl Fist of Krosa, Elvish Warrior, and Phantom nantuko. not very big.

Well, the Urza block and 6th edition were standard when I started. My deck was a lot of little creatures and pump up spells.

Neogothixion My first? Still my favorite deck of ALL-TIME to run; Sunburst! ^_^ Dunno....i got a lot of problems with people who say it's too slow, and it's weak... i found that there were only a few good sunburst cards. and they do have the problem of getting all the right mana. but thats easily fixed in green. rampant growth to get green mana, and artifacts can produce the rest. if i recall, Clearwater Goblet, Etched Oracle, Pentad Prism, Skyreach manta, Solarion, Suncrusher, and the Suntouched Myr were the only really decent Sunburst cards. But i did love Spinal parasite, the only card tht had a toughness less then 0.

My first self-created deck was White and made out of Ice Age cards. Wasn't that great. confused I thought healing/flying cards were the greatest, lol. xp

My first pre-constructed was the Heavy Duty deck from Invasion. heart Kavu

Everyone should learn to play with blue!

my first ever deck was a WUBRG deck mainly built out of pretty much all the cards i had when i was 7. My brother's friend's dad, who was a WOTC employee donated me some cards, and from them i built my first playable deck, a B/R/G aggro deck which in retrospect was probably disgustingly bad
and sunburst, where i would never use it in constructed play, was an extremely good deck to run in 5th dawn sealed.
