Before you go and fall in love with me,
I have something to tell you. BEWARE!
When I love, it is deep, dark and dangerous.
I am an unsafe person to be with.
I have abused before, both others and myself.
Though I now take steps
to prevent it from happening again,
I can't promise anything.
Demons and lost children reside in my soul.
The ones that refuse to know.
The ones that feel they don't belong here or anywhere.
The that feel very unwelcome in the world.
The hungry ones, who kick and scream when we're apart.
The ones that don't know why I'm writing this,
since I'll have nobody special to share it with anyway.
The ones that want to be back in mommy's or daddy's arms.
The ones who don't feel good enough for you,
or anyone else for that matter.
The ones that keep forgetting happiness is within.
Is there anything positive you ask? Oh yes, plenty.
My emotions run deep, maybe deeper than most.
I try to deal with the problems I have,
rather than run or hide from them.
I can be affectionate without being sexual.
I can be great fun at times.
I'm also a great kisser or so I've been told.
Still if you see something you don't like
and I mentioned it here, don't be surprised.
Don't say I never warned you.
If you are wondering why I am writing this,
I will be more than glad to tell you.
I want you to hold no illusions about me.
Illusions kill relationships.
I want ours to live.
And remember, my love is unusual to say the least.
It comes from a place few dare to even look at,
let alone are comfortable with.
Look into those places within you heart that you fear
and you will find me there.
Places where cobwebs grow and vampires lurk.
And just what is my love?
My love contains the blood of saints and sinners.
My love hold playful innocence
as well as knowledge that drives most mad.
My love has the spirit of the celestial realms
and the burning passions of animal instincts.
My love promises both heaven and hell.
