As you know, today is Ostara or the Spring Equinox.
In honor of Ostara, I shall be giving out 500 gold! Two lucky people will be recieving 500 gold today!
How do you get this lovely gold? Just by posting what you are doing for Ostara in this thread. Wheather it be dressing up, doing a spell, practicing a ritual, planting a tree or flowers, or even just hugging a tree, post here and you have the chance of winning 500 gold!
Everyone gets a number by the order in which they post. Dont be discouraged to only post once since the amount you post will not effect the order. I will use the random number generator to pick the lucky winners.
I will re-number the second time so that the first winner does not win again so everyone has a chance.
The contest ends March 22nd at 12pm CST.
(Yes I know I sound like a TV broadcast. xd )

Well, I can't do anything extravagant because my parents don't know about me being a wiccan. So I plan on going and hugging a tree and hopefully plant some snapdragons in the window box.

I wasn't really up for doing anything for Ostara. I was away from home trying to not be terribly depressed, because my Grandpa passed away on the 19th, and normally I talk to my mom about how I'm feeling, but she was gone to go to his funeral. So I went up to my fiance's, and didn't even realize that it was Ostara.

I understand how you feel. My grandpa passed away last December when he was getting better. It is really tough and my ex-boyfriend got me through it. I dont think about it much now but I do miss him. Most of the time I dont even realize he is gone.
