I'll probably vote for Guliani because McCain is not the right man for the job. Guliani has done so much for New York and the other two candidates... well they are democrats so that rules them out for me

If you knew me you'd understand I'm all for the military and not at all for the environment or the poor democrats are not the right choice for me

How could you be "not at all for the environment"? You live in it, too, you know. Wouldn't you like to make some effort to make it a little better and safer for future generations?

No not really, life is about getting the job done at all costs and if that means that the future has some problems well thats too bad thats the price of progress. Besides with the world going to pieces more and more everyday there isn't going to be a future much longer

That's a dark way of looking at things. I'm probably going to vote for Guliani myself, but perhaps another candidate will come along that I like better. Honestly I'd love to see a candidate like Robin Williams character in Man of the Year because even though I'm a hard-core republican I am getting tired of the constant squabble that is occurring on Capital Hill. I'd like to see candidate who understands that we need to finish what we started in Iraq and the Middle East as well as one who could focus some of his energies into domestic problems. It's hard sometimes to tell what a candidate is going to do though. xp

It's dark but it's true I mean you have Iran and North Korea striving for nukes and they are both enemies of us and Iran has publicly said they want to wipe Israel (one of our allies) off the map

So you're saying because of war prospects and the fact that you probably won't be around when the environment truly goes to s**t that you don't care? Politics and goverment are all about the future of our nation and others. If we don't take affirmative action nothing will change and nothing will improve. confused

No I'm saying that because of global events if we don't do something none of us are going to be here when the environment turns sour

actully I think its the opposite. If we dont have an environment then how can glodal events go sour? And if we are barly hanging on then the global event will turn from fight over which God is right to who get a gallon of only slightly contaminated water.

Scientists theorized some years ago that Mars was experiencing a form of global warming, but now new evidence points to the possibility that it is actually emerging from an ice age.

Rotis, are you implying that global warming does not in fact exist, and that our planet is actually just undergoing a natural cycle of change? If so, I can provide you with graphs and information that may prove otherwise.
