This is a poem I wrote. It goes to the toon of the nursery rhyme 'Mocking Bird'. What do you think?

Hush my darling, don't you cry
Silence as you slowly die
Pick up that knife cold with tears
Cut away all of your fears
Whimper into the dark
Watch as the blade leaves a mark
Hear the blood drip to the ground
No one home to hear the sound
Quick my darling, stop the flow
Losing too much blood, oh no
Fall to the ground with a thud
Surrounded by your own warm blood
Say your goodbyes, last request
Let them know you did your best
Hear your blade clatter to the floor
As all your blood pours and pours
I will meet you at Hell's gate
After you meet your bloody fate
