i've eaten this mini squid or octopus thing that was purple. i had it in a seafood salad, and i was wondering what it really was and if purple isn't it's natural colour, how do they get it purple.

lol, beets DO stsin stuff a purpleish color. i doubt that's the case for this. perhaps my step mom remembers..

Ohh, actually it is purple, my work uses em in calamari, so yeah thats the natural color.
