Actually my first experience that started to make me wonder was my reoccuring dreams. I'd ask about them and if they meant anything but all I got was 'It's demons trying to enter your mind' from my family. I wanted to know what was really happening. Then I met a new student and she said there was most likely a message. I was being fore warned or guided about something. She told me to meditate on it and if I wanted her too she would try a reading for me. This is what led me to Paganism.

I've got a few good stories. mrgreen
Last summer, my friend and I accidentally went through a time/space wormhole.
If you're interested in the whole story, it's all here: Nala's Wormhole Story
In January some mysterious giant mythical bird appeared in my yard (just on the edge of the prairie) during one of the worst blizzards in years. It was four AM, and I called my best friend to make sure I wasn't losing my mind or something. (After some research and calling a couple of friends, I've determined that it was probably a Thunderbird, a kind of Native American Phoenix.)
Dreams were also what led me to where I am now. In my case, my mom was a therapist and told me what lucid dreaming was and how to do it using mediation and other techniques. So after a few years of practicing every night, I was finally able to either lucid dream or even leave my body.
Around the same time (about 12), my dad gave me my first deck of tarot cards and taught me how to take care of them. 3nodding
Funny thing is, both my parents are Christian...but Dad said tarot is part of our heritage, and Mom is Unitarian (Most Xians don't consider UU to be Xian anyways, lol).
So I dunno...it seemed like a natural progression in my case. xd

Starla Tendimowa Actually my first experience that started to make me wonder was my reoccuring dreams. Wow that new student must have been sent to help you. It was probably your destiny to become pagan. When I was little, my mom told me not to do witchcraft because witches did evil spells to hurt people. I still was attracted to witches but I did not want to be evil myself. In 5th grade I teased a boy about doing spells and I wrote a spell book with spells like "abracadabra" and "bibity bobbity boo" and other things. I actually freaked him out xd In 6th grade I saw "Scooby Doo and the Witches Ghost" it said that Wiccans were good witches that healed people with herbs and I was like "I want to be one." I was also finding things wrong with my Catholic faith. So I researched a bunch of Wicca sites and got a bunch of info on it. I became wiccan but then with more research I decided that there were a few things that didn't make sense. So I decided to be pagan so I could use certain beliefs from every religion and make it my own. I am still researching to completely define my own beliefs since I haven't figured out the precise details to what I believe in.

I normally get things like saying the exact thing that a person would say just a second later. Its fun unless I keep saying what they were about to say many times. I guess it comes with hiding in the broom closet.

I've had a few wacky things happen. I constantly have deja vu for example.
The earliest would probably be when I was about 5. We were driving down a street and I was staring outside the window. I was about to comment about how the lampost looked like a person after we stopped at a stop light when I clearly saw the lampost wink at me. I'm pretty sure I wasn't dreaming or anything. To this day I still argue with my mom over it.
About a year ago around Thanksgiving, my cousin, Caroline, and I were up in our aunts' old room talking. My grandparents have this huge farm and live in the middle of Tenn. and on a hill where a very minor Civil War battle took place (I constantly see ghosts (including my dead uncle whom I never met in life but now in death) all around that place, especailly in the green room that was a living room but hardly anyone goes in there now). The room we were in was right above the green room. I was about to read her fortune from my cards when we heard this...I really only know how to descibe it. It was like a bunch of dogs or wolves (or coyotes, grandpa told me this winter break that they had coyotes around) and a yell or cackle. Caroline and I just froze. I went to the window and saw a very faint light deep in the woods across the road. I was only able to see it because it was so freakin dark out. That's when we decided to go downstairs and get a soda or something. eek I still have no idea what that was.

me and some friends of mine were out in the bush behind the local college trying to find a suitable branch for a wand. one friend wandered into a clearing and kinda tranced out on us. when we went in to investigate we accidentally stirred up a huge nest of astral nasties. unfortunatel one of our friends couldnt make sheilds to save her life at that point so we had to build one for her and bassically drag her out and to the local shamans home for a cleansing and healing. needless to say we always listen much more closely now.

Lunaki3 Wow. Was the forest glowing or was it something in the forest? Something in the forest. It looked kinda like a fire but at the same time the aura eminating from that area was like acid green.

The only really weird things that have ever happened to me aren't really all that weird at all. Like, stuff that happens in my dreams sometimes happen in real life afterwards. Or I'll know a certain person is going to call before they actually call (without them telling me in advance). Just random stuff like that.
I didn't have any weird experience that brought me to Paganism though... that just happened on its own.

I always had the dream to become a witch, and when I found out that they were real, it was like a dream come true. They were much different than I thought they would be... They were even better than I had dreamed. whee heart

And the aura could have been the ghosts plasma. Im not exactly sure.
