I love Jake, he was a great friend for Bella during the non-Edward time, (excluding the part when he became a werewolf and basically shunned her.) I do hope Bella finds a way to remain friends with Jacob.

As Stephenie said, “We will see if people can still hate Jacob after Eclipse.”

I have to say....I really hated him. Like the whole time. Yeah, he was good for her during the non-Edward time, but...Yeah. He liked her, but she didn't like him back, and he was still persistant. Thats just bugs the hack outta me. And after the epilouge, I couldn't stand him. He wasn't useing his head at all. Those are my thoughts, not yours.

I love Jacob.

He and Edward both did stupid things in New Moon.

They both abandoned Bella in their own way when she needed them.

And at the end, Jacob did a really stupid thing.

I'm afraid he'll end up like Richard from Anita Blake.

For those who don't know, the usual

Well, things in life don't go the way you plan. I'll admit we all have our emo moments, but we can decide to not have them all the time.

In order to be happy, sometimes sacrifices are meant to be made, and that includes dreams.

I'm at a stand-still as well. I think he did wonders for Bella during her time without Edward. Without him the plot would be boring and she'd most likely become severly depressed and start slipping into hysteria! (That might be taking it a little far... but meh neutral .) And yes, the epilogue made me very angry at him, but after reading his side of the story on Stephenie's website, I understand where he's coming from. I probably would have been thinking/doing the same things. His addition also makes the plot interesting because he adds another group of mythical creatures to the story C; Teehee..
All in all, I don't really know my feelings for Jacob. I think the third book will help me decide. ^3^

it was Edward who was starting to piss me off..

When you fall in love, you fall in love.

You can't control it and you either:

In the dragon way, you love it, it's your's by right, and you do everything you can to protect it.

Another way to go is to realize what makes it happy and then try to let it go so it can be happy.

Humans are usually too selfish for the latter, but eventually it happens.

I think Jacob will realize that it's not going to happen eventually, just right now he doesn't want to see it. He thinks Edward has poisoned or bespelled her probably.

He'll realize that her love for Edward is stronger than his love for her, and will hopefully let her go.

I admire him for trying, and I know how hard it is to let first love go. ~ heart

I didnt care about jacob in New moon...he didnt make me mad but I didnt like how he kept trying to get Bella to love him. But I still think he helped Bella and that counts. Besides Steph said something about Eclipse and I have a few hunches....that he'll save Edward and Bella hehe. Something will happen I know it XD
