I have been debating marriage for a while now, and i know God wants men and women to be married, but after seeing my parent's marriage, i just really don't like the idea of marriage if there's a chance it's going to end, and having to go through all that pain. So until something happens and i change my midn there is a good chance i will never believe in marriage again.

I believe any marriage has the opportunity to work out. You just ahve to put your mind, heart, and soul into it.

Any marriage living (everyday) under God's blessing will work out good. Period.

It really depends on whether or not the two people are cut-out to be with each other in the first place...

Marrage isnt loving someone because you want to, Marriage is loving someone because you have to. Its not always going to be rainbows and butterflies. My mom (a Christian) married by dad (an atheist) and she struggled for 20 years. This last year my Dad became a Christian, she went through some hard stuff but God helped her through it.

From what I can see marriage isn't always a bed of roses, but the idea of spending the rest of your life with your best friend is very appealing.
But take the time to get to know whoever it is you might marry. Make sure you can be friends with them. At the end of the day the handsomest man might end up bald and overweight, but at least you'll have something to talk about.
