I am as excited as the next FOB fan for the new cd, Infinity on High, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE all almost all of the songs on the cd. I have been listening to some of the songs for the past week before it even came out, and thought I was mentally prepared for this new cd. I even ran out in the snow to AEROPOSTLE ((sp?)) to get the cd and t-shirt, even though many roads were closed and every school in the area, ((including my own)), has had the past 2 days off, and tommorow too.

-->>>
But I just CAN'T STAND the song, "I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me + You)"

I feel like I am the only one who finds it to be rather... girly and predictable note wise?
I don't know, maybe my expectations are too high. I mean every song can't be as perfect as, "Hum Hallejulah" or "Take Over, The Breaks Over".

~Anyone else find this song rather, out of character you could say, for FOB?

It starts off very nicely, but then it just goes all downhill when it hits the chorus I think.

I bought it on iTunes, and I love it! Every song... except Golden. I just don't think Patrick's voice sounds very nice with just a piano for accompaniment.

What are your opinions on that?

When I first heard Golden, I wasn't too crazy about it. But now, the song's kind of growing on me. surprised

My favorite song, I think, is Ringing in My Ears. I love Patrick's falsetto voice, and the lyrics have this sort of pretty thing going on.

I have a love/hate relationship with Hum Hallelujah. I love the first part of the chorus (A teenage vow in the parking lot/Till tonight do us part) but I hate hate hate I sing the blues, and I swallow them too. I'm also not too crazy about "Sometimes we take chances/Sometimes we take pills," but maybe I'm just uncomfortable with the subject of medication in general. The rest of the song is great, but it's that chorus that I have a problem with.

The song I have the most problems with, though, is Arms Race. It's a great song, single wise, but it just doesn't really mesh with the rest of the songs on the album. Most of the songs are really pop-py, and then BANG, here comes this song with this R&B ish kind of feel. It kind of irks me, but it's still a great song.

I actually like Me and You. The lyrics are pretty sweet, and the melody is too. Yeah, it's girly, kind of, but it's still a cute song. Also, does anyone know who sings "If I woke up next to you" on that song?

To myxlovexisxchemicalxboy - the band HAS to get money for it. Aeropostle has to buy it from somewhere, so it's pretty impossible that they get no money from it.

(Me + You) is one of my favorite songs on the CD. I love the tune and lyrics. I don't know, but it's like in my top 4 of favorite songs on IOH.

I can stand "The (After) Life Of The Party" , but I would have to say that song is my least favorite. But I still love it.

Basicallly, this is my favorite CD of ALL time.

Even better than TAI. HA! (directed to automatic)

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of "Me+You" but I don't mind it too much, I guess.
"Golden" is one of my favorite songs on there. I loooove it.
And the first time I listened to the cd, I got addicted to "Hum Hallelujah" and I still reallyyyy like that song.

Upon listening to the album again, it's definitely a better album than the previous two, but I feel like the band's trying to raise themselves up into AN EPIC BAND that's more pretentious than a Morrissey fan, instead of being four dirty boys traveling in a van. And srsly, it turns me off.
