I had no idea where to put this... but I laughed my a** off tonight watching it. So I decided to make a thread dedicated to not only OOC stuff but anything that didn't have even a real place in any of the OOC threads.

enjoy mateys. I hope to post more oddball stuff soon ROFL

the video is from Myspace.com

the guy calls them "epic" vids. You have to see this one just purely for the comic value. Pirates of the Carribean...... ?

rofl...those female pirates are a trip.

That movie is supposed to be a good laugh. Epic Movie combines all of the great movies from the past few years and makes a giant spoof of them all. It's made by the same guys who made 'Not Another Teen Movie' and all 3 of the 'Scary Movies'.

That was certainly interesting. Maybe I'll go see this movie after all- friends have been trying to get me to and I've resisted- but if it makes fun of PotC I may be game. rofl

I'll most likely see it once it hits DVD. Rarely do we go out to the movies since a babysitter is never available, so we either rent or borrow from friends. sweatdrop

I am very interested in seeing Epic Movie. There are quite a few of my favorite movies in it that are being spoofed: Chronicles of Narnia, POTC, X-Men, and Willy Wonka.

Here's a bit of driftwood I ran across awhile back and wanted to share, but had no real good place to put it.

gonk gonk gonk Now I HAVE to see it!!!!

There's also a movie out called Pan's Labyrinth I want to see. I'll probably have to wait til it's on DvD because the theatres here don't have it on their screens. But I was a little spooked and intruiged about the story line and costumes.

I have also completed watching the Horatio Hornblower series with our good Doctor. I became absolutely engrossed in them (to the point where he offered to pause it for me when I wanted to get a drink and I told him I'd rather wait til the end lest I ruin the flow of the show) sweatdrop 3nodding

I want more Horatio Hornblower, dammit!

Actually going to the movie theater is a rarity for me, so I won't be seeing either of those till they hit DvD. They both have my interest peeked, though.

Here, Here! More Hornblower! If you like the series you should read the books. 3nodding I'd love to see more Hornblower action. It's one of the first lengthy series I've ever gotten Jesse to sit down and watch with total interest, and we both spent the entire time watching it at the edge of our seats. lol

Now this...I must see and it will be in a theater (as well as POTC 3). mrgreen

Pan's Labyrinth

oh yes!!! I want more Hornblower!!!! (more Pellew for that matter wink )

I have learned so much from that series...

and I've seen the trailers for 300... quite interesting. I think I will enjoy seeing that movie.

If it's Hornblower you want, then go see 'Amazing Grace' starring none other than Mr. Hornblower hinmse'. Infact, Regal Cinema is holding a Membership Card contest: The Prize is Two 1st Class Tickets to England.

It's free and God knows I've already entered.
Though if any of you scoundrels win, I'll kill you all.

Also, as a fan of the Forester Series, I have to admit that they did a fair job at doing the books justice. A little off form time to time, but fiar none the less. The uniforms are as close as they could afford, but good enough for film at least. Though, jsut once I'd like to see Hornblower actually run someone through. He isn't a fighting captain... he's a desk clerk.
