He's amazing. He's probably my favorite composer as far as movies go, especially in the animated field. Miyazaki picked a good one.

I LOVE EVERYTHING THAT HE HAS COMPOSED!!!!!!!!!! especially the spirited away songs. laputa theme and the howls moving castle theme!!!!

Felegund Joe Hisaishi is amazing! I love all of his soundtracks. I LOVE the Laputa theme esspecially. 3nodding I downloaded the fall of Laputa theme with the children singing and after about ten seconds of listening to it I burst in to tears. He's music is so beautiful and can really move people!

Joe Hisaishi really is amazing, he plays all the piano stuff in Chihiro, and composed all the stuff for a huge portion of the studio Ghibli films. (darned close to 99.99% of them)
did he write the music for Nausicaa?

i know!! all his songs are really good! i have like almost all the songs soundtrack.. but anyways, he did most of them and i think there are songs that he didnt write though
my favorite is the lupata, spirited, princess mononoke theme songs... and there are like a bunch that i also like. but those are my faves out of the soundtracks.

His soundtracks are amazing and perfectly capture the films he creates them for. I especially love Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle OSTs, they are so different, yet so amazing! lol

the laputa theme is my favourite, my cousin taught me how to play part of it on the keyboard when i was little but sadly i doubt i can remember how to play it after so long crying

Joe Hisaishi is awesome, my personal fav soundtrack of his is the Kiki's Delivery Service Soundtrack, the soundtrack to my fav movie. Pure Bliss
