Doctor Robert Kelso;

Bob Kelso is the truculent chief of medicine for the hospital. He tells series protagonist J.D. that he is 57 in an episode of Scrubs that takes place in 2005, which probably places his birth date somewhere around 1947. He graduated 12th in his class at Stanford University in 1968, which means he was probably 21 at the time. He occasionally mentions having been "in the service" during the Vietnam War. He appears to be more interested in profit and staying out of legal trouble than helping patients; on the grounds that if he permitted pro bono treatment towards impoverished patients, the hospital would close. He is fond of spending the hospital budget on himself; he opted to buy a VCR and TV for his own office rather than an MRI machine. He and the Janitor are the only major characters whose personal lives are not seen in detail.

Ken Jenkins;

Ken Jenkins (born 28 August 1940) is an American actor, born in Dayton, Ohio. He co-founded Actors Theatre of Louisville. Jenkins is best known as Dr. Bob Kelso on Scrubs (2001-present). He previously appeared in the series Homefront, on the X-Files episode "Medusa" (season 8 ), a season-4 episode of Babylon 5, and on Evolution, a season-3 episode of Star Trek The Next Generation. He has also appeared in movies such as Gone in Sixty Seconds, I Am Sam, The Sum of All Fears and the 1998 remake of Psycho. Jenkins also had a minor role in the 1990 film By Dawn's Early Light.

I love it when he and Dr. Cox butt heads. Someone needs to keep that egomaniac (loveable as he is!) in his place. XD

He is so evil.. but so funny. I love it when he and Dr. Cox fight its so funny.
I loved it when he and the Janitor had that fight for that scooter thing. Then they decided to let it roll off the roof,
Kelso sad to the Janitor) This is going to hurt you more than it is going to hurt me
Janitor: Nah, I don't think so
Scooter thing goes off the edge and crashes into something.
Kelso looks over to see the scooter thing has landed ontop and gone through "Besty" his car.
Kelso:You moved my car didn't you
Janitor: I told you i have keys for everything!!

Kelso is one of my favorite characters. Did anyone see Ken Jenkins in 1776? He's a good singer.

Actually, in many of the episode, he has shown signs of having some kind of compassion for patients.
...The episode's not coming to me at the time, but it will.

And does anyone get the giggles every time he calls Turk "Turkleton"?
Because it just kills me.

The Damn Sasquatch says:

I know just what you mean.
When I first starting watching Scrubs I had to ask if Turks name was really Turkleton.
I was really confused.
