I love Poker and Screw Your Neighbor but I haven't played Screw Your Neighbor since high school. No one knows how to play it, it seems. And all my friends that knew how to play it have moved away.

I still have all my Pokemon and Harry Potter cards, but they're just serving as keepsakes right now. When I first got into buying Pokemon cards, the most I would do is trade with people.

It's sorta like War. You want as many cards as you can get. You and one to seven other people (making 2-8 people total) sit in a circle on the floor or at a table. You each put down one card without looking at the card first. So in other words you have your stack of cards in your hand face down. Cards that are 2-10 mean basically nothing. But the jack, queen, king, and ace are what you want in your hand.

So what you do is...one person puts down a card...let's say...a five. Suit doesn't matter. Then the next person puts down a seven. The next person puts down a king. Now this is where it gets interesting. The person that follows after that now has three chances to put down a face card (ex. jack, queen, king, or ace.)

If this person does not put down a face card in those three chances, the person who put the king down wins all of the cards in the middle of the table. But if the person did put down a face card...lets say a jack...the next person then only has one chance to put a face card down.

Jack = one chance
Queen = two chances
King = three chances
Ace = four chances

But that's not all. Lets say you put down an eight. Then the next person puts down another eight. That is what is called a double. You want to be the first person to slap the top of the cards. If you do you get the pile.

Also, lets say you put down an eight, the next person puts down a two, then the person after that puts down an eight, then that is called a "sandwich". Slap those too. But this rule is optional. You can play using this rule if you want.

First person to have all of the cards in their hand wins. And people that run out of cards can slap a double or a sandwich to get back in the game if they wish.

Yup, it does. I'm not sure who does the art for them, but they definitely relate to the books more than they do the movies.
