I'm sure a few other people might have thought the same thing. I know Decora probably isn't a sub-fashion of Lolita, but look at all the similarities and influences in some of the pictures!
I've seen plenty with Lolita-styled shoes, skirts, tops and other things. I mean, it could be classified as a sub-fashion, but then again it couldn't. I just want to know some of the other guild members opinions.
What do you think? Possible Sub-Fashion? Or not?
Please, don't get me started on haw FRUiTS is a magazine name, not the name of the Decora fashion. [/ranty.] ;'D
Please move this topic if it's in the wrong place. plzkthnx;;

♥ Erm... I am not sure on this one. ^-^" My younger sister is Decora. I think it is very cute. But Lolita is Lolita and Decora is Decora. I would not want to mix those two for some reason. Decora looks too modern...

they definately have smiliarities sometimes... since its mostly people in a similar age group with similar interests that wear the fashion, its not wonder that they can merge at time... but also, there are plenty of decoras out there who dont wear anything lolita. i dont think its a subfashion, i just think some people like to mix it up a bit ^_^

There was a girl who's picture was posted on ******** who did a decora-lolita look (she wore two dresses layered over each other). It was very cute.

I would not want to mix those two for some reason. Decora looks too modern... I agree. I personally would not like to wear them together, since then it would seem like a totally different fashion. Not quite one, nor the other.
Decora is very modern, with all the bright colours and heavy ammounts of jewlery, hair clips, etc. But I do believe it is possible to add in little things, like a peter-pan collar, a lolita-esque skirt and shoes to a decora outfit. Though, again it wouldn't seem very Lolita or Decora in a sense. Hybrid? =/

I love lolita. I love decora. They don't seem to overlap too much, though. They're cute when elements of both are mixed together in one outfit, but I would call that neither lolita nor decora.
