The Pixies are cool. I only have one song by them on my playlist, but they're still pretty good.

Frank Black, the lead singer and guitarist went on to do solo stuff. I've never heard it so I can't give an opinion. Kim Deal, their bassist (yes, a girl smile ) went on to form the band, The Breeders. They're pretty good, but not as great as The Pixies. Their most popular song is called "Breeder". The Pixies had a reunion tour a while back. It's on a dvd called "The Pixies Sell Out"

Turd Furgeson Yea, next to Nirvana, they were gods. They actually inspired Nirvana a lot. The Pixies was one of Kurt's favorite bands. Frances bean was actually partially named after the lead singer. (his old stage name was Black Frances)
