What are the requirements for getting Artifact Armor. I've gotten Dragoon and Black Mage AF so far, but it's been quite a while. Today I tried doing White Mage. First I couldn't start the quest for the gloves. I thought maybe it was because my source was wrong about who to speak with, so I moved on to another piece. I was level 50 and I'd allready gotten the AF weapon. I thought that was all I needed, but apparently not. When I opened the coffer as my lvl50 job it just gave me 8000g.
Could anyone tell me what I did wrong? question

You're correct that all you should need is lvl50 and af1 complete - is it possible that you already have another AF quest for another job open at the same time?

I never got a black mage body. Is that why? I don't think it's a quest though. You just open a coffer in Davoi.

yeah, you need to have all the peices for the quest to be considered done. That and it looks like you didn't activate the shoe quest in sandy for whm. I'm on my 5th set of AF, and each time it's a pain to find the coffer, easy though to get the key.

You can start/complete them in any order as long as you have completed AF1? But yeah - its definitely that blm af that is the problem... You need to get that done .... or I've heard there is a way of resetting the af quest but I don't know how and I'm sure its painful.

Thanks guess I'll be farming a key now. Last night I was telling my love about what happened and that it was probably my BLM body. He laughed at me as he recalled how many hours and days we spent trying to get the key to drop. gonk I hate Davoi.

I have GC allready biggrin but ne ways. I went and got my af body from BLM. It let me start the af shoes quest so now I think I'm good. Thank you all for your help. ^^

Supposedly as long as you finish your glove quest(no matter what job you are) you should be able to open up a coffer in the areas where your other AF pieces reside and recieve them.

gah storage is such a pain in the a** when you only use a few peices of your af but you can't store the rest - oh noes!
plus is there any way of storing your af weapon? gotta admit i'm really sorely tempted to drop it.
