NEW SPOILER ALERT!
They're dealing with [Melissa McCarthy's pregnancy] by making Sookie pregnant for a third time. David Rosenthal is seriously considering ending the season (or series?) with Lorelai and Luke not only married but expecting a baby. The buzz in Stars Hollow is that the key to an eighth season may rest in Alexis Bledel's petite hands. Unlike Lauren Graham, who appears to be somewhat amenable to the idea of continuing on for another year, Bledel is proving a tougher sell. As a result, Warner Bros. and the CW are allegedly developing a Plan B that would focus an eighth season on Lorelai, Luke and their new baby, with the occasional sweeps-month guest appearance by Rory.
Lorelai will end her marriage with Chris. The latter won't be happy about it. Lorelai will stay single for a little while. Some people over at FanForum say that Luke will be quite impressed with Lorelai's letter and that it'll make him see that he was good enough for her.

I dont like this at ALL....i really hope they decide to use the excuse "the vesectemy repaired itself...or it didnt work" because of sookie cheats on jackson.....not good....not good at all..... When I was reading the preview of Sookie acting weird, I didn't even think of her being pregnant. I am happy they wrote the pregnancy into the show.

The actors really deserve more money. The production and syndication companies will make money on the series for years to come. They stand to make much more money than the actors. The actors on Friends set a precidence for extremely large pay raises, but since they acted as a unit the entire time, it was probably easier. Lauren probably got the best money when the series started, she was the best known. Alexis was a newcomer and Scott's role has increased significantly in the past few years. They all deserve more money! But I hope the money situation doesn't kill the series, it is finally getting better this season!

I think in the long run Alexis and Scott wil realize they really won't get another great show like Gilmore Girls and Lauren is a producer now so of course she makes more money.
