Welcome to Atra-fons

World - Atra-fons is an ocean world covered by endless storms. The world itself is completely covered by a giant ocean, and dotted by small islands. The sky of Atra-fons is a giant system of storms that almost never lets sunlight though. Because of the lack of sunlight, this world is very dark, and seems to be night most of the time. However, because of the world position near it's star, the world is still some what warm.

The islands are linked to each other by teleporters and giant floating platforms. The platforms and teleporters seems to be made of very advanced technology. Some platforms are only the size of a house, while others are as large as a city. The larger platforms, and the islands are all covered by buildings, fountains, and statues. All of these seem to have their own power source, but what that power is remains unknown. The Gate itself rests on the largest island, which is only 7 square miles big, but surrounded by platforms.

People - The entire world of Atra-fons seems abandoned. There are plenty signs that people did once live here, however, it seems that it may have been many years ago. Still, some evidence might suggest that there could be a hidden population that has yet to make it's presence felt. Why the original people left this planet is unknown, but it appears that they simply vanished without disturbing most of their environment.

SG-Teams - Atra-fons is a strange world with many mysteries. Because of this, it is recommended that only the bravest of SGC members attempt to reseach and explore this planet. There could be many unknown dangers, but anyone who is willing is invite to explore. However, this place is very large and not alot is known at this time, so you have been warned.

Roleplay - Atra-fons is not a friendly place, so the chain of command is in use. If you receive an order from a superior, do not fight it, just follow as your life could be in danger. When reporting, keep your grammar about you, and try to not spiral into silliness. However, humor is permitted when not in danger. Follow these simple rules, and keep a common sense of politeness about you, and we might all make it back safely. Good luck.

On the stormy planet of Atra-fons, a Gate inside of a giant glass dome begins to whirl to life. As the last symbols line themselves up, the familiar blue swirl spills itself outward, and then retreats back into itself. The portal is open.

Slowly a small firgue steps though the portal and into this mysterious world. She is a small, pale girl with a strange scar between her eyes. As she finishes stepping though the Gate, she takes in the land around her. She is in a giant dome, lit up by lights on it's roof. Inside are a few trees resembling palm trees, but with purple leafs instead of green.

Finishing her quick study of the area, she determines that things inside the dome are safe, and that the storms outside would not be a problem. Stepping out onto the concrete floor, she raises a radio to her mouth and says,"Come in SGC, this is Maj. SFB, Atra-fons is secure. Please send the teams though now."

"Roger that, Major SFB, orders being executed"
With that, Snow White headed to a command console, and typed some codes, accesing the communications system. Typing in the words "Code Gray 111" she waited while the console executed the command, and when all was clear she turned off the console. Heading to her headquarters, she grabbed her backpack of stuff, and headed to the gate. The mission was a simple one, but she hated the code 111, it was used when the planet was deserted and the field units would not be all needed, and yet, that same code also implied that only the best units be sent, and that uncertainty was not good in her field.
But, being also a gray mission, there would be a lot of researching. and she would have the chance to relax and help the researchers, which she always enjoyed doing, unless something goes utterly wrong...

Finally arriving at the gate, she typed in the direction of the planet, and when the destination appeared on the small screen, it said that the planet had been entered 3 times in the day, counting the entries of all the gates disposed around the world.

"But, only the Major and nedick had gone through today, and I just sent the order, I doubt everyone moved so fast, and the planet is supposed to be deserted...I don't like this at all." She left her things at the gate and headed back, getting another bag, but this one full of weapons, "why are always the research missions the ones that make me carry weapons..."
she said as she went through the gate.

Placing her sun staff vertically on the ground for it to light the surrounding area, Snow White helped nedick and the major to arrange a base camp. As she approached the major, she said, "I hope everyone remembers to bring their own mini ufo, or we are going to have a slow time moving around in here...as for weapons, I got some essentials here", she said, shuffling the bag where flame swords and fire gauntlets sat idly. "They will certainly help, if at least for lighting purposes" she thought to herself.

all check, I have all my things set so I will head to the south-west portal to see if can find out more about this dark planet......

Lady Zelda also stepped through, quickly looking around to see what this place looked this. She'd always done this before donig anything else, like on her last mission.
"Tell me again, what are we possibly hoping to find here?"She asked, scartching her head.

"Ah, right. Let us carry on then." Zelda smirked, convincing herself to stop staring at the water so much.
She also had a pistol hiddenup her sleeve... just in case things got ugly. Who knew if anything hostile was out there? Hopefully they understood words and not bullets, for Zelda had lousy aim.
