Okay, here's my opinion of him:
Sanzo is actually a pretty okay guy, as long as you get past the entire s**t where he's like 'Die' and all. Problem is... He's psychologically still a thirteen year old boy who watched his master die... and takes the thirteen-year-old route and holes his feelings up in a wall where they generally don't see the light of day.
Is he an a*****e? Yes.
Is he in need of a major peronality transplant? Definitely.
Does he need to get laid? Probably would be the best thing for him, honestly.
...Do I need to explain anymore...? Ask questions. I love them.

I quite plainly don't like him. As a matter of fact, I hate him. He seems to put no effort into things, he doesn't drive, or cook, or clean or make a sweat. He holds his gun and does nothing more than hold his gun all day.

If you like the character, you tend to relate somehow.

Hahaha, I have a love/hate relationship with Sanzo. He's smoking hot and he says some profoundly deep things sometimes. If I don't want to think of him as an a*****e, I just pass it off as "grumpy." xD
Then again, his utter disregard for the well-being of his companions (not to mention his huge ego) really piss me off at times...
