Horohoro is cooler because he fights more.
Manta is the better friend, he helped Yoh first
and contnues to help him despite little obligation.
Horohoro is the better fighter because he has
trained as a shaman.

Obviously, Manta's smarter. xp Horo Horo's cool, but it's hard to tell which makes the better friend. I'd say Manta because he's always up to help his friends.
As a Shaman, Horo Horo would be stronger because Manta never trained to be a Shaman. sweatdrop

They're both really cool~. So I'm really so sure about this question. It's because in episode 61, Manta was just being awesome but Horo-Horo was really cool in episode 48! So, I think the two of them will tie for this one. Hehe... <3
Manta is a great friend to Yoh and the others but so is Horo-Horo. It's like how he argues a lot with Ren and Chocolove but he'd risk his life for them. Also in manga 5 or episode 14, he was being a great friend to Yoh! I really love that part!
Ah... Horo-Horo's obviously stronger because he's a shaman. xD
Manta is obviously smarter than Horo-Horo. Horo-Horo is cool but it is evident in some episodes that Horo thinks slower than some characters. Even in episode 20, the first thing Ren said to Horo was that he has the face of a stupid person. xDD Well, not really the first but the second because Ren said 'Shut up.' first.
