Since, to my horror, there is currently no soccer thread in this guild I'm making one! Yay! So all those who love soccer or maybe even just like soccer can talk about favorite teams, the world cup, favorite players, postions, and plays. etc. etc. etc.

Currently my favorite team is Manchester United, although I was very sad when David Beckham got traded away to Madrid. Well not traded exactly but lent out to.

Since i just got the Fox Soccer channel, i'm trying to watch as much soccer as i can. So i picked a team to like and i picked Arsenal! But i don't know any of their players yet sweatdrop Watched their game Saturday and they tied 0-0.
And you'd be surprised that this guild started out having accually mainly soccer fans 3nodding got made at me when i called it soccer and not football.

Arsenal is a very good team too! I am actually not surprised that it started out as a soccer fan central, since soccer is the most favorite sport in the whole world. I think it's hilarious that only in America is it called soccer, since only in America would they call a sport that you play with your hands football.

There are 2 guys. One is brazillian, 29 (going 30 this year), playing for Real Madrid in Spain. The other one is Cristiano Ronaldo. A 23 year old portuguese, playing for Manchester United in England. One of the best young players today.
