This is a temporary sticky, for the sole purpose of getting a concenous of Prideland members, and future prideland members as to the future leadership of the of the pride.

As most of you know, within the next month or so a new set of royal cubs will be born, and for the first time a set of a twins will be set to rule. AKA they will be given the condition that they MUST rule together, and cannot rule seperately. So along with the double arranged marriage we're looking at anywhere from 2-4 new rulers of the pridelands down the line.

And though it will probably be quite awhile before that time actually comes, I wanted to get a vote from the members.

For this change around of rulers, would you guys prefer that it be completely new people? A brand new fresh look for the Pridelands?

Or would you prefer that there still be a hand of the past/experience stuck in the group? I know I tend to have a 'want' to keep the pridelands what it was atleast loosely in the movie. And to keep it the lands that Mufasa fostered.

But are you guys ready for a change? Think things are too stagent and what to see what a whole new group of people would do to it?

Cast your votes! And please do so honestly with how you really feel. :3 There is no need to post, unless you REALLY want to. And there will be no hurt feelings whether you want a change or not.

I agree with Bane, I like the lands as is, I don't think they need a change. There's plenty of drama everywhere else, and while I can understand if someone wanted said change of pace, I really don't want to see this place go down the crappers. It's one of the three places that I feel comfortable RP'ing on a regular basis, as is. I'd hate to see that change.

Just because new people run the pride doesn't mean it will turn around completely. I know for one Ipod wont change it at all, she respects the pridelands...and since they will be trained IRP under Iris to make sure there isn't some sudden dark storm that turns the pridelands to hell...I just dont think you should vote with that mindset.

At them moment the best way to look at it, is keep Iris, or try give people a chance. Because a lot of the other prides and packs (sadly mine included) the owners keep the heir so they can rule on, or give away the heir to a close friend. What the vote asks is if we should open the chance for anyone to get the heir, or let Iris keep it and continue to rule the lands. 3nodding I personally liked the idea becuase people who usually dont get a chance yet deserve a heir can get the chance now :3

But than again, I also support Iris XD; I'm torn so I'm just not going to vote XD

I voted a mix of old and new. <3 I respect the pridelands for what it is, and I would never want to change anything without making sure most people were on the same level with me. Aaand my opinion on if I want Iris to have a heir or not, pming her on that. ;D ~

I like the Pridelkands Mufasa loved, but new is good too. IE, keep an old owner as an Heir, but also allow for nowq owners. Fresh outlooks change everything. (Example, in the Kingwa'Mbwa when Adia dies, LEadership is passing to Ticdat, ETC).

So old/new is good.

My opinion doesn't really change. whee I still much prefer the leadership we have right now. Even if Iris is busy, she's still prooven that she's incredibly dedicated to the Pride, and I really would hate to see her go.

*shrugs* I voted for a mix of new and old, so it's not as if I'm against new blood, but like I said. My opinion still stands. I'd like to see Iris stay, and see what could be come up with together between the current Pride-owner and the future co-ruler.

I like the pride the way it has been run, and I'm not sure that changing up the ownership would totally change things around, but it may change the social dynamic of the pride (OC and IC).

Ownership is supposed to pass directly with the lions that rule the pride. (It's in the rules on the front page) So my original intention (that both heirs be given away) would have meant yes, we both get the boot.

But I suppose whoever ends up with the heirs will be owning the pride once they're old enough to rule.

So by SoA rules I'm technically supposed to be the only one ruling the pride right now, since Kami is the only leader and doesn't have a king. I just, don't like doing things alone, so while I'm the leader for all practical senses (going to for acceptance, getting in trouble if I'm not active enough, etc etc) I still have clung to some other people for help. Aka Blue, Amon, FC.

But once it shifts and there are quite a few rulers again with the twins (because there would be 2 to 4 then) I'm sure that only they will be the owning members.
