I hate my library.
They don't have a single GL graphic novel in the collection. Every Batman book is filed under "Batman" no details about the actual story line. You just have to click one at random and hope it's a good one.
I always get crap ones... except once when I got The Killing Joke (most awesomest Bat-story evar!!!)
They only have two Flash stories and no Outsiders...

magalabuddy I need to read things with a story. I usually try to get graphic novels as often as I can, although I rarely buy them, except for the Infinite Crisis series I'm collecting, I have 3, only another 10 or so to go!

You should definately try and get your hands on the big companion books, they'll help you out massively with character bios and histories.

First it was my ex-boyfriend but he only had couple of old school X-Men. Now my fiance has them, and he buys them when he can. He's gonna give me a crash course on the Avengers. It's so cute seeing how excited he gets to talk to me about it. blaugh

Something that's really starting to bug me: I can't get any other DC CEs in England! Just Batman. Which is great, don't get me wrong, but I want GLs and I want the Flash... and Supes.... crying
