Ever noticed how sometimes people will unconsciously set up links to you psychically? Whether it be your family or what not or a firend from work? I cut them as soon as I see them, I like my onw energy best. anyone else noticed these?

...
Guilty as charged.
It was a MISTAKE too.
First time that ever happened. Suddenly I was reading her mind over the phone and stuff....

LoBo, I love your response.

Anywho, I think that there is a possibility you're just perceiving their psychological connection to you. It runs both ways, too, as all relationships do. Don't cut them off too hastily, or you isolate yourself and reduce your influence in a given environment.

In giving of yourself, you somewhat "infect" others with your philosophy and spirit adding what you know and feel to what they know and feel, and increasing everyone's understanding of one another and the world around us.

Today is my happy hippy day...can you tell?

A bit...a lot probably...

And Az: Yes it is nice and a very good feeling...but it's not worth scaring them...

I think the connection is part of the trust placed in people when you take them into your inner circle. I know you have influence/are influenced by everyone you're around but you let down your guard and accept more from those you care about. That is why it is so important to watch who you keep close to you.

I've only scared one person through a connection, and that was just one of those "Whoa, that was kind of creepy" moments where we were on the same wavelength. I usually try to keep them like doors so I can open or close them if necessary.

That's nice and all when you can control it. And we were already on the same wavelength but once that wave length was on the same frequency too much she got really scared...

My best friend and I have a connection to a point that even tho we're hundreds of miles apart, if the one has a sudden change in mood, or is hurt physically, or anything, the other can feel/sense it instantly. There have been times in which I was sitting there, reading a book, and I became angry for no reason, so I called her, and it turns out she was very angry (that happens a lot as her roommate is an idiot).

Well, I don't have many connections at all. But I am an empath, so I like creating one-way connections quickly then disabling them. Odd as it seems, I'm good at it.

I also mistakenly pick up emotions and pains, creating a quick, accidental bond... Like I can get really mad, then I'll whip around to glare at someone and tell them off in my head, and I realized I picked up their emotion. Which is horrible, because I have no reason to be mad like they do. What am I going to say? "I'm mad 'cause I picked up some jerk's way-over projected emotions?"

I think not.

But, creating the bonds are fun, because no one really reaches out to me. So, yeah, on behalf of emotionally starved empaths who almost never have an emotion of their own, SORRY!
