I just thought that I'd make a place where flutes/piccolos can come and talk. other instruments are welcome as well.

I love flutes and wind instruments! Especially ethnic ones. But the only thing is I tend to get dizzy a lot and have been adviced as a beginner to use the tongue when blowing on the instrument like "tu" or "ta".
What wind instruments do you play?

LT. Riza-Hawkeye have you guys ever heard Bass Flute? (( eek i absolutly love 'um.)) my old flute teacher let me play her's it was awesome. Speaking of which, anyone heard of the hyper-bass flute? Apparently, its lowest note of beyond the human range of hearing, and I heard it's enourmous!
