Have you ever considered why Gaara has actually killed someone? Like, the two grass ninjas at the exams.. why did he just suddenly kill them without hesitation? And what goes on in his head that you cannot talk to him when he's like "that"?

I've also thought about other occurrences that the anime has not shown.

Other than someone getting on his nerves, what would some comical situations be?

His father "created" him to kill. That originally was his purpose. They didn't care how Gaara felt about it at all.

I was actually watching those episodes today, and part of it didn't make sense why he said " as long as there are people in this world to kill then I will not cease to exist". From what I gather, it seems like he thinks that if a person looses they die. And if a person dies then they were not meant to live. Sort of like destiny. Also, there have been so many assassination attempts made on him he is probably afraid for his life all the time, so he will kill anyone who poses the least threat. And he has made threats, but he can't seem to think straight when people like Gai-sensei are around. He was about to kill Lee, Shikamaru, and Naruto until Gai came into the room. So something about Gai confuses him. He wants to know why Gai bothered to protect people. He wondered the same thing when he was fighting Naruto. He then realized that the reason people are strong is because they fight for others. That then became Gaara's existence, one that couldn't be erased so easily.

Also, when he killed those two people before he went to fight Sasuke, at that poing Shukaku was starting to take over. Added to that is all the new ideas about life were flooding his little head...and he needed a nap...all these factors were making him more unstable than usual.
