Well, I really want to go to Ohayocon. I've been happy about it for months. Okay almost a year, but now none of my friends want to go and I don't know if I should go alone.
Should I brave it and walk around a convention all alone crying or just sit this year out? crying
One of my friends has her head up her boyfriend's butt and hasn't been paying her bills like she's suppose to. So, I know that she's out of the question because she'll be visiting him in the big house. She's so stupid.
My other friend is pregnant and hasn't been feeling that good lately. I understand that. I don't want her to go and get sick or something.
Another keeps giving me the run around. One minute it's yes, then no. In the end I know that she'll just say no. Plus, she just got married and well she may have to get his permission.
I won't even talk about the last one because I know she's in la la land right now lol.
Sorry, but I just don't know if I want to go alone. It's just not the same without a friend to talk about things with. Of course I did go one day alone last year, but 1 day is different than 3 days. sweatdrop

I'm semi in the same situation. Most likely I will end up going alone. Sure having someone makes it more enjoyable but not having someone being the sole reason not to go? No I wouldn't let something so simple ruin a chance that comes once a year. Besides, there are many crazy similar people attending, new faces, new friends you could meet. Who says you really will be alone the whole time?

There's a ton of new people to meet at cons. Some become new friends, some even become best friends. I've been going to cons for a while now and never go with friends. I always go and either meet friends there or meet new friends and hang out with them. It's a good way to meet new people.

Both of you are right. Look for me. I'll be the crazy person with the blue bookbag full of stuff. Oh if I'm shopping I'll have on headphones. I don't know why, but when I'm shopping a good soundtrack gets me in the groove lol.

Well, my rides consist of friends out of town, but usually, when I do decide to go to one w/o outside help, I have an in town friend come along. ^_^
