If you haven't been following the thread, I've decided to try making plushies. Specifically the Shitennou, but I see no reason not to do the Senshi as well, or other characters. Shitennou first though.

Currently I'm working on getting a pattern to use, which means making mock plushies out of scraps (and I have a lot of scraps). I believe I may have a do-able head now.

Thanks! If you had asked me if I could make a plushie a few months ago, I would have told you "no freaking way".

It's not too difficult to pick up sewing tricks once you get started. I think the most difficult part of this is figuring out what to sew in what order. If I attach one arm, then sew down the side of the body, I suddenly can't attach the second arm easily. It takes careful planning.

On that note, I have the hands and arms figured out as well as the legs. Working on the feet now, and when it's all stuffed we'll see if the body needs any tweaking. I think I might need to make it bigger.

Well, the body will be disproportionate to the head, I just don't want to to be too much so.

I would assuming these ones work out OK. I haven't had a chance to work on them any more yet. Maybe tonight.

But yes, if they end up looking half-decent, I'll do orders. 3nodding

Haha, nice! I think if I tried to do that I would end up with more of my hand sewed then the actual plush. sweatdrop

I think its a great project to get into ^^. I have tried sewing it was a project in school I was making a heart but it turned out to be something else. So I have never tried sewing ever.

I have still yet to make any progress on this. My cosplay projects for March are now getting in the way.

But I promise that I won't give up.
