Okay I'm all for having self confidence. Don't get me wrong, but when I see girls MY size squeezed into stuff like ... Hollister and A n F then I believe we have a problem. It's not like those are the O N L Y brands that make that kind o clothes. Is it just me? Please tell me it's not just me.
[[btw these are girls that belong in a 2x at the least eesh.]]
[[i r a 3x.]]
[[shirts anyway xP]]

there is no way that can be comfortable and i deffianitly wouldnt want anyone to do it in order to fit in with others. [plus those stores suck bigtime]

I don't think it's bad if they actually are their size, but I agree that it's foolish to try to fit oneself into a smaller size than what feels comfortable, just so one can say, "I'm a size 14!" No, you're a size 16 trying to fit into a size 14. I'm sorry if I used a bad example, but what I'm trying to say is that any girl can look fat if she wears clothes that are too small.
But it also pisses me off when I hear people say, "They shouldn't make lowriders for plus-size people." I hate how some people seem to think that if you weigh more than 100 pounds, then it's impossible to look sexy.

I for one am probably the person squeezing themself into clothes that are too small. But I can wear between a 1x and a 2x, depending on the brand and stuff.
Yesterday I was shopping with my friend and I squeezed myself into a shirt at Forever 21 (whose clothing sizes run big, so I can just barely fit some larges) and I liked it alright, and my tiny friend thought it was adorable and slimming. It made my boobs look smaller ><
The thing is, I find slightly tight clothes more comfortable for me often.
Not pants waists, but the rest of the pant being semi-tight makes me happy. Unfortunately my legs are smaller than my waist when it comes to pant-sizes.
And I prefer wearing hip-huggers because high waisted pants make me feel old, but the lower on you a pant is, the more it's going to bring out your belly. I just want to stare when I see a girl with her gut hanging over her pants... especially if her shirt is up over it. I want to ask her if she knows her clothes are too small. I'm not staring because I think it's sexy, I'm just wanting to dress her better.

I think those stores are alright. They're like whatevers I guess. I prefer Torrid and whatnot but that's meh. *shrug*
Well.. depending how tight. If it's form-fitting and f l a t t e r i n g I have no say against it. Not at all. Hell yeah that's hot but if your gut is hanging out over your jeans [aka a muffin top] and I can see your crack then I think we have problems.
[Little Rachael] I tooooooottally agree. Why I love Torrid. They have E V E R Y T H I N G! It's just pricey is all. They have a lot of cute undies and stuff and they have the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen it's just wow. I know that the dress I bought there for a formal dance made me feel hot. I was like 'woo!' xD then again im a tad bit psycho. biggrin
Haha high waisted pants are funneh.

I have.. a sort of reversed problem. Instead of buying and wearing things far too small, I end up with pants that have waaaay too much space in the butt, thighs and calves. sometimes in the front crotch area, too. I just have a belly. emo
And I cant buy shirts made for fat chicks because I have a smaller rack. gonk
My lack of fat in some places is preventing me from dressing cute. ;_;

Fuzzy Necromancer [Aww, but the belly is the best part. mrgreen *pokes* sexyyy ;-; I'd be happier if I had a rack to match. I just look like a human sized pear. xd Lady_ValentineI could but I'm cheap. xd I don't have a problem buying shirts in most places, I have an ok upper body, I'm usually a medium or large, depending on the kind of shirt i'm buying. It's just pants and skirts I have issues with. ;_;

Sewing is hard! I tried to sew a pleated school girl type skirt [for a cosplay outfit I'm doing, I'm obviously not going to buy one! they're too short for me xD" and I failed miserably ;-;.

Haha did you try by hand or with a machine? I think a machine would be easier to actually make clothes with. [Dunno I r not an expert] xD
