Well, it's almost Chanukah, and we are the Jewish Gaians Guild......So, EVENT TIME! biggrin


Happy Hannukah, JGG! Here's the steps to follow for the annual gift exchange...

1. Sign up! Just post in this thread that you will be participating.
2. A mule, either Kia's or one that I will make, will send you a trade with 1g. The 1g is only there because Gaia does not allow you to start empty trades. This is just to make my life easier, so I won't have to worry about you confirming the trade. This trade is confirmation of your sign-up. Your name will also appear here on a list of participants.
3. Go purchase your gift! Still taking suggestions on the gift range; last year we did 500-1000, but I'll stick up a poll for ideas! This is, of course, an approximation. Gifts should be unisex.
4. After purchasing your gift, wrap it. That will cost 10g. Make sure to include a note that has your name so that the recipient will know who purchased the gift!
5. Add the wrapped gift and 1g to your trade with said mule and confirm it. The 1g is so that you will end up even.
6. The mule will confirm the trade.

Also, taking suggestions when you want to do this! We could aim for the 15th, but we can stretch it a little to provide more time for people, as I know this is a tad late. sweatdrop Please, please, please! send a thank you note to whoever bought the gift you receive. I know you've all had practice with that through your bar and bat mitzvahs.

There's a chance we may not be able to, since for unknown reasons even to the Gaia mods, it's disabled.


In the end, I'm not sure if we can, but I'll take any suggestions in the meantime! sweatdrop

I say we should use a third party mule, someone who isnt being controlled by a person on the list, to do the actual gift giving.

Seems sort of unfair if the person controlling the mule is one who is on the list, he or she could give themselves a better item.
