As you know, the elements are the forces that tie in with our magic, strengths, and weaknesses as well. This will be a new twist to the RP and I hope it will work out…It was hard to come up with this and typing it up as well.
There is a certain element that magic draws from: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lighting, Light, Darkness, and Aura, the non-existing element. Just as forces clash together to balance the world, these elements do the same thing.
*Note: The equal sign means opposite of. They are weakness of each other.*
Fire = Water
Wind = Earth
Light = Darkness
Lighting and Aura are both equal to all elements and can be used by a high leveled magician/warrior.
BUT, there is another thing to this: IF there was more power in a fire-based attack, it would overpower the counterattack (water).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just how magic draws from a certain element, any being has a certain affinity. A second one is added as a secondary element.
To find out, use your birthday. The month being the main, or major element, and the day, the minor element.
For example: Kenji’s birthday is May, 30th.
So his main element would be Fire. To find his secondary, go to the calendar of May, and start counting off the dates like the 1st of May would be Darkness, the 2nd would be Water and so on.
January = Darkness
February = Water
March = Wind
April = Earth
May = Fire
June = Light
July = Fire
August = Water
September = Earth
October = Darkness
November = Wind
December = Light
Just as with the first example, this also counts in a fight. If your opponent is using the opposite element attack and it hits you, it will increase in damage verses a person that isn’t the opposite. However, if you use the same element as the opponent, it would either do little damage or nothing at all.
Example: A water attack hits a Fire-elemental warrior. The warrior would take more damage than it would hit a Wind-elemental warrior.
Example #2: An Earth-based attack hits an Earth-elemental warrior but isn't affected.
Because of this, you do not want to reveal your element affinity to anyone. With knowledge, comes with good results...or bad ones. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, because Kenji has the main element, Fire, it will be his most strongest power; attack, defense, and ability-wise. Light will be his second strongest.
However, this does not mean that your character is limited to the ones you have gotten. You can use other element based attacks but it will not be as powerful as your main and secondary elements. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When you do find out your elements, please put it along with your character profile....And don't try to cheat the system. I'll be watching. ninja

okay, first off, if the elements are supposed to be equal and opposite than you have a few flaws. if a water attack is at the same level as a fire attack, than the water will always win. If an air attack is the same as an earth, earth will when. that makes unequal properties and thus renders the tactics full of unfair advantages.

If an air attack is the same as an earth, earth will when. that makes unequal properties and thus renders the tactics full of unfair advantages. However, if the fire attack is stronger than the water attack, then the fire attack will overpower it. Think of it like this: A wild-fire in California is raging out of control. If the firefighters don't have enough water, they can't put it out. If they have a huge amount of water, then they could put the fire out.

lol, what about get 6 pieces of paper and write a different element on them. Then throw a coin in the laid out papers and see which it lands on. Repeat steps 1 throught 1 until you get something other then fire haha.

On the first one, did you got to the exact year you were born on? Example: May 30th, 1991.
