Project Impact, a secret project which is rumored to be Ninja Gaiden 2, is planned for the Microsoft Xbox 360. Another mysterious title is currently in development for the Xbox 360 known as Project Progressive. Finally, 2 more unnamed projects are in the works, set to come out on the Sony Playstation Portable and the Nintendo DS. DS and PSP games... what do you think?

Ninja Gaiden 4 you mean, remember there were 3 Ninja Gaidens for the SNES and the Xbox one was a remake of those 3 from what I heard. Actually its most likely NOT A NEW NINJA GAIDEN!!! from what I heard from the Tokyo Game Show 2006 is that the next Ninja Gaiden is a remake of NINJA GAIDEN BLACK for the PS3! not a new Ninja Gaiden.

I thought that the Xbox Ninja Gaiden was seperate from the classic Ninja Gaiden trilogy. confused C'mon... it had Ayane in for crying out loud!

Its sort of based on it, its like a reboot of the old series with similiar characters with similiar roles in the original trilogy and similiar plot elements. Ayane is there to add a mix, but just because it has Ayame means nothing really, SNK includes Geese Howard in alot of their games, even newer ones, and he died in the middle of the series but they still use him as a playable character!
