ok do some guns only work with one air supply? cause with my Spyder Sonix Pro, when i hook it up to a Nitrogen system it wont recock all the time, like it will fire 1 or 2 shots and then it makes a loud noise and i have to c**k it manually. But when i set it up with CO2 it seems to run just fine. any info would be nice cause im in the process of upgrading my equipment.

its possible you have a low pressure N2 tank. those work work on spyders or tippmanns. i'd say N2. the reason why people use N2/compressed air is because its not a liquid. Co2 is a liquid and during high rates of fire the liquid does not have time to expand into a gas to properly operate the gun. when this happens it freezes o-rings and bad stuff happens to your internals. N2 is always a gas so this doesnt happen.

well i just use the one that the field gives me cause they hate to have to go in the back and set up the CO2 filler. so the one there giving me is prbly a high pressure one then?

I'd go with compressed air/N2 for several reasons.
1. Compressed air is much cleaner then CO2.
2. You can read out how much you have left in a compressed air tank.
3. A lot less blown/damaged o-rings.
4. Recharge rate and consistancy.
5. Works in all types of weather good.

A tank might seem expensive at first but they are totally worth it.

i think what he meant to say is that a low pressure tank wont work on tippmanns and spyders, cause im pretty sure spyders adn tippmanns are way too high for a low pressure n2/compressed air tank

so if u want it to work propoerly on n2/comp. air, u should get a high pressure n2 tank

Depends. The HPA tanks are bigger but you are probably seeing only a few sizes. They ahve a few that are like, 45 cubic inches. Evxtremely lightweight but not lighter thatn a CO2 tank because Co2 tanks are just a nozzle on an aluminum tube. The HPA tanks have a thicker body made out of normally extremely light carbon fiber. The tanks are a much better buy than Co2, DrAxXuS already made that apparant. Besides, if you buy a stubby tank, they don't stick out that far. HPA will last as long as or longer than Co2 depending on your guns efficiency. Not only that, HPA and CO2 is typically the same price to fill. I just buy All Day Air, usually about $10.
