Baby towels and washcloths are expensive and often a waste of money. I mean it's like three to a pack for 8 bucks for the washcloths and ONE for 8 bucks for a towel. Big ole adult sized towels will adequately wrap up your baby and are generally more soft and fluffy!
Also, don't splurge on full outfits now. Both my girls wore onsies and feetie sleepers for the first like 6 months of their lives. Only now that Bella is 11 months old and more tolerant of being dressed do I put her in jeans and cute shirts, etc.
Since you'll be having a winter baby just get one of those all over snowy suits we lived in Florida with Lissa and still was able to use one when it got cold enough.
I could never seem to have enough blankets, though. Middle weight swaddly blankets. They were always getting spit up on or dropped out of the carrier. So Blankets is a good idea so you have some while washing the others.
Baby socks get lost TOO easily. They're like disposable, just buy a pair of fuzzy inside warm boots and slip em on when you go out.
Also I used the CRAP out of these www.babylegs.net I still do, both of my girls STILL wear them. Especially the oldest since she wants to wear skirts and it's cold out.

Thank You ^_^ I'll keep that in mind.
Though, I've already wasted twenty dollars on baby washclothes.

Here's a usefull tip-Get two sets of sheets for the crib, and a waterproof liner to put between them, make up the crib with both on them, then when there is a middle of the night mess, you can just strip one set and the liner off and don't have to struggle so much making the crib back up. ^_^
Another useful tip- Instead of spending a bunch of money on spit up rags, go buy a big bag of washable diapers, there only like five bucks for thirty, and they work just as well if not better than the spit up rags ^_^
Thank you to my mom for some useful tips 3nodding

I actually have only got to buy one little outfit for my baby; my mom has gone NUTS with all the baby clothes and whatnot-she's even apparently buying all the baby the furniture he's going to need. confused After my Baby Shower, though, I do plan on buying things for him, and some things for his nursery. I'd like to waste some of my own money on my baby, too! >_<
