Has anyone ever seen it? I used to watch it on Saturday mornings when it was still on Scifi, that show was hilarious. xd

Crow forever! I love that show. We are sadly deprived of it in the UK - I don't think even Sci-Fi has shown it for years. I remember catching part of a late-night Channel 4 episode many, many years ago and basically thinking "the hell?!" Then I caught another half-episode on cable in Florida when I was on holiday.
It took the wonders of "The Eye of Argon" which a friend of mine was reading in a computer lab one day and sniggering over for me to rediscover the show. Since that fateful day, I have collected many MSTs from the internet and I've been collecting the DVD boxsets too.
I also went to Sci-Fi London last year which did an MST3K all-nighter - I won a Rhino boxset! biggrin
May I recommend to MSTies that they seek out the MSTs of Stephen Ratliff's Marrissa Picard series? Oh, the happy hours...
DW
PS Where's Joel in that poll? And what about Doctor Forrester and TV's Frank?

It's actually been years since I've seen the show, they took it off of Scifi. I'll redo the poll and include them, though. 3nodding I'd love to get the boxsets, I'd have too much fun watching them. They cost so much here, though. Perhaps I can see if I can get them for either Christmas or my birthday.

Sarah Jane Smith I'd love to get the boxsets, I'd have too much fun watching them. They cost so much here, though. Perhaps I can see if I can get them for either Christmas or my birthday. It's worth checking out the online stores, they offer a healthy discount to Rhino's recommended retail price. Living in the UK, I get all mine from playusa.com. I've not got volume 8 or 9 onwards, I really ought to get round to increasing my collection - especially since every so often, Rhino's rights to the underlying movie expire... DW

DW We have a store in our mall here that sells some of the volumes, they're a bit expensive, though. I can't remember exactly what volumes of it they have, I think I saw 7 and 9; those are the only two that I can recall.

A quick check on deepdiscountdvd.com shows boxsets available from around $36 to $40. Not bad for 4 discs smile
MSTies may also be interested in rifftrax.com. Mike (and occasionally Kevin Murphy, aka Bobo / Tom Servo) basically gives the MST3K treatment to more modern movies. You download the mp3 and run it with your own DVD copy of the movie in question. Latest I think was The Fellowship of the Ring; they've done X-Men in the past and something with Tom Cruise (potentially Top Gun?).
They offer tips on how to synch the mp3 with the DVD format, whether you're US region 1 or UK region 2.
Nice to see he's keeping busy smile

It ran from 1989 to 1999, starting off on KTMA (Minnesota), moving to The Comedy Channel (later Comedy Central) and then to the Sci-Fi channel, where it finished. Sci-Fi used to air reruns regularly up until about a year or so ago, when their rights to the underlying movies all expired. In the UK, we got MST3K: The Movie on ITV1 a couple of times last year (or was it the year before?). I think I caught one episode on Channel 4 many, many moons ago. Other than that, we were sadly deprived. DW EDIT: For those of us in the UK, Sci-Fi London is holding an MST3K all-nighter for the second year running. It starts at midnight Saturday May 5th and features four episodes, with free coffee / tea / red bull & muffins & ice cream in the intervals. Last year I won a boxset biggrin Thank you, Rhino! For more details and booking, see http://www.sci-fi-london.com/2007web/moviepages/mst3k.htmlWell worth checking it out if you're in London or likely to be - entrance is £24 a head, but that's equivalent to £6 per movie, which isn't bad (especially for the capital!). I'm booking tickets & rail tickets as we speak...
