Don't knoiw if you would call it a story, but when a little kid that I know came over while me and a friend were watching it, I tried my best to convince him (( the little kid )) that Shuichi was a girl xD lol He was to little to understand about gay lovers, so i was like "1.- would they put a guy with pink hair ? 2.- Would a guy wear that outfit in a concert performance ??" i felt kind bad, but I don't feel like my place is for me to educate him about that.

I remember when I got the first dvd of Gravitation and I was watching it on our downstairs entertainment center since my parents weren't home. I got to the end of the first episode when my parents came through the door, so I stopped it right before the kissing scene so they wouldn't see it. But somehow the dvd player malfunctioned and started playing again right as my mom came downstairs. She looked at the tv, looked to me and said, "Your watching hot guys making out without me?" I was so surprised she didn't freak out. Heh, she actually is now a big Gravitation fan and I'm getting her into other shounen-ai and yaoi's too.

I got really bored one day while me cousin was over and looked at my Gravitation box set. I asked him if it was okay for me to watch it (and I explained to him that it will have guys kissing...I didn't want to scar the poor boy sweatdrop ) and While we were watching it (all 13 eps) He got hooked on it. sweatdrop It was weird because he said he never wanted to see the series before.

I was in my room,on my laptop, reading Gravi mega mix, out of curiosity . Well i went downstairs for a snack and when I got back up stairs my mum was standing there and was like what is this.I just told her what it was and she didn't mind. So now i have tons of yaoi art books pics all over my walls including, Junjo Romantica and Messiah. Back when I was younger i was so scared to go in the book store to buy yaoi, as i thought people would see me as weird lol, hahha,gravi was my first ever BL, M ratig all the way for me now though.

I've been waiting for my Gravitation DVD Set and the nine volumes that I've ordered from Ebay.Com, since New Year's! I first got the manga's and then I got the DVD... There's a funny part to this story...

I spoke to my mother about Gravitation and she's like,

"Ashley! And you call me a pervert..."

"Mom! I-It's not what y-you're thinking!"

But... Here's the reaction my older brother had...
I came from school in a good mood, and opened the door to the apartment.

"Hey, Ashley! Your Gravitation DVD's came!" he said in a mocking tone as he said Gravitation.
When I saw the cover I immediately blushed! Like, seriously blushed!

The cover shows Shuichi wearing short-shorts and Yuki was on the left, smirking as he stroked Shuichi's legs! My older brother looked at me funny. I wish he didn't check the mail...

Here's the next one...
Me and my little brother are very close, so I introduced the anime to him. (He had a hard time reading the manga in a different way. Haha--!) He said, "Ashley, is that a girl...?"

"Um... ye-yeah..."

"Ha ha ha--! Shuichi is funny! I like him, Ashley!" I smiled.

I also remember the time before I got the DVD Set...

"Ugh! Junior, the DVD Set is taking forever! How many does it take for a box with four dicks take to get over here!"

Oh my where do I begin I have a few to tell.

1) I met my friend RiddleMeThis18 thanks to Gravitation, I was int he 8th grade and her in 7thway back in middle school, I had just gotten into manga but was an old time anime/DBZ fan since childhood so I wasn't too new to japanese comics. (I'm also a american comic nerd >P ) Ther eI was just sitting there in the gym waiting on my friend to arrive so we oculd talk about anything when suddenly this girl behind me goes berserk!
I freaked out and she grabbed the manga from my hands and started squealing about how she adored Gravitation and yaoi and the like. For the first couple of weeks I was terrified of her, but now she's my best friend and I love her dearly. There isn't a day we don't role play some sort of yaoi XD

2) I didn't have a DVD player as a child, never could afford one, so when I got DVD's I found a way to copy them onto a VHS tape so I could watch them. Well I had just got Volume 2 of Gravitation and the person who normally copied them for me was gone for a good while so I asked my Aunt is she could do it.
I still to this day have never gotten it back, it was later I learned that was the one with Shuichi getting....errr 'violated' by Taki :,< I don't know what became of it but I do know my aunt hates me now.

3) I was in my JROTC (military for those who don't know) class reading a rather... graphic fanfic for gravitation. I was the AI (teachers assistant, more like babysitter) and Sarg asked me to take the freshmen outside and run through the drill practice a few times, and send in the ones who were having trouble.
After getting done
I came back inside to find the SAI (The big JROTC boss who is a creepy douche) READING it. Know what saved me from getting into severe trouble with written 'porn'? The fact that I was a big grammer nazi back in high school and had notes in the margin to send to the author on what they may have missed or to help improve.
The fact that I was a English nerd saved me.
He said he was proud that I was willing to read through anything in preperation to become an editor when I grew up.
I never told him my real goal was to become a Chef....
4) Same guy as in 3 caught me reading Gravitation and... Level C after I got done taking my Semester Exam. I had Gravitation on the desk because I was almost done with Level C and he just picked it up and scanned through it. I went stone cold thinking I was gonna get into big trouble and a fellow student pipped up saying "Hey cheif you really wanna read anything she reads?" He knew I was obsessed with Yaoi and thanks to him I was saved.

Phew that was alot XD I learned my lesson though... Okay not really I still walk around with Yaoi in my purse but I can't help myself D:

oh wow XD those are some stories! The first one was suspenseful--i thought your book was about to be trashed XD ..thats funny.. i've had friends who flip out over manga like that, it is a very scary but fun experience -- lol gravitation helped me build friendships too

the story with your aunt --- aww ;.; thats unlucky.. i hope she gets over it some day... i mean, that part is awkward..but its not too graphic..and the anime was pg13 .. er.. i made my little brother watch gravitation with me and he didn't even notice anything weird..my mom did get mad though..

I have a manga shelf in my den and i noticed when people are over they like to grab some off and start flipping..so i moved all my gravitation manga up into my room where no one can grab at it XD

i don't really have a gravitation story because i kept that well protected..and it was kind of safe anyway... but my friend and I wrote a really cracked out yaoi fic one night as a joke when she was staying over..and we left the notebook out when we went to sleep--- and my mom found it an opened it to see who it belonged to ...and read quite a bit x.x;;;.. it was a pretty bad story...and really crack-ish too... i got ultra interrogated the next day when she was driving me to a friends house, luckily, we got there and i jumped out of the car..she brought it up a few times afterwards but we're kind of pretending it didn't happen now XD ..its years later and i think she's forgotten..i haven't XD lol

He asked me why I paused it, and I said that the next part was gonna' be sorta' inappropriate. You see, my little brother is a big mouth, that's why. Anyways, he said he doesn't care and that to un-pause it, and so I did. He just stayed quiet and Yuki kissed Shuichi. I burst out laughing and he just stared at the end credits of the first episode.
