We are having a fan fiction contest for the month of December. The prize is a Thank You Letter for November 2006 which contains either a Mini UFO or a Momo Monkey.

Here are the rules:

1. You may submit multiple entries.

2. There are ten entry slots meaning only ten stories will be accepted so hurry before all the slots are taken.

3. Deadline is December 20.

4. There will be five judges.

5. Shonen-ai and shoujo-ai is allowed but it musn't be R rated.

6. One-shots only.

7. The theme is Christmas or New Year's

(Yes, I am competing because I can't judge since shonen-ai and shoujo-ai makes my stomach churn and goes against my beliefs.)

Post a link to the fic here. It must be on fanfiction.net, mediaminer.org or adultfanfiction.net. Preferably one of the first two. If it is on an independent site there must be a way to contact the author on the site, and the contact information must be easily found. Plagurism will not be tolerated and will get your fic automatically disqualified. Lemons will also cause disqualification (and be reported if they're on fanfiction.net).

Lady Une, how do you want the enty fee handled? Do you want to be the one collecting the fee? If need be I can have a mule set up to handle it.

I'll compete but is the entry basis first come, first served on stories or by people who say they will compete?

Personally I think a story should be completed before being allowed as an entry because fanfiction writers are notorious for not meeting deadlines and for not completing stories at all (hey, I'm guilty as charged on both of those offenses myself!)

That's true about first-written, first slot, but then I worry about people rushing and not getting as quality fics as we would otherwise . . .. neutral Whatever you guys decide, obviously.

First, you have to be sure you'll submit something. Each story eats up one slot so an author can have their name on the list several times. Problem is, there are only ten slots. If you plan to subit two stories, I'll put your name up twice and you'll have two slots.

There is a risk though. If you take two slots and are only able to submit one by December 20, you're automatically disqualified.

In the spirit of fairness, I took one slot. That means that's my slot for the whole duration and I can't take up anymore slots and may only submit one story. I hope it's clear... sweatdrop

Um, Oreasa, this is like an application thread. This is just to see who's joing and how many entries. They'll pay when the lists complete. Disqualification if they don't meet the deadline and no refund. I was thinking of putting up the Submission Thread in December... Sound good? Contest hosting is tougher than I thought...
