[rant] So, I was sitting at my computer, and decided to turn on the TV so I could wake up a little. What happened to be on the channel was Pokemon, one of the newest episodes. (With the new pokemon....)
OMG WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY CHILDHOOD?
They changed the voice actors! Like...all of them! Even Ash! And all of the boys are wearing shirts that show their belly buttons, and have long hair!
Of course, I would be happy of the GAY but, they did it so bad! Ash's voice is so groooossss! And all of the pokemon sound like middle aged men!
AND MY JAMES!!! KOJIRO!!! NOOO!!! Jesse and James are not my Jesse and James!! UURRAAGGGHH!! gonk [/rant]

I briefly saw it the other day and noticed that they had changed Ash's voice actor. But even when I was younger, I got disinterested when they started switching all the characters out and such. That's a sure-fire way to lose my attention in an anime, because I get really attached to a cast.
I never watched it ALL that much, but it WAS one of the first anime I really noticed, though I never really got into it.
...o.o What did they do to Jesse and James? *worries*

So, you know how Jesse had that wierd throaty voice that souded a lot like Pegusus from Yu-Gi-Oh? (If you watched Yu-Gi-Oh)
Well now they made his voice sound more American and masculine. He sorta sounds the same, but not much. And Jesse sounds girlier. Dx
I am was in love with Pokemon. I had all the video tapes (Been watching it before DVDs.), collected figures and cards, plushies, posters, you name it. I have all of the video games and everything. biggrin
The classic pokemon are my favorite though. Not too into the new ones. They all look like vegitables. D:

Oh, I am still in love with loved Pokemon Johto!! It's really, really sad, but I used to love sitting up at night wandering around the caves in the dark listening to the radio... pretty much like I do with Animal Crossing now XD

I noticed that too! It made me so sad. crying Either they lost the contracts with those people, or they were stupid and got rid of them. >.> I can't even watch it anymore.
Johto was fun~ I love Emerald right now, I've played it a couple times over, and now I'm sucking a** doing well against the Frontier challenges.
ninja I have a magnet or an Evee and a Charmelon. And a digimon. >.> Though they aren't the same, I still adore the old time Digimon anime.

i was a serious pokemon freak... then, i was watchin it a few weeks ago with my sister (stupid new Pokemon Master Quest or sum such thing...) and i was like, wtf? they even took MISTY away! she was like, teh coolest character ever! now they have that annoying Mae/may girl on... ugh... xp

I've never watched the English dub. Since I'm Norwegian I obviously saw the Norwegian one, but I was really to young to understand what a bad dub was.
Dubbing sucks big time.

Ugh. I can't even watch it. It disturbs me. It gives me the biggest of headaches. I am still a Pokemon fan, and I ALWAYS will be. That monstrosity they put on Cartoon Network?
It's not Pokemon.
It's disgusting. And on their last season, too. Why now, of all times? All they have are the old fans. This was the Pokemon Company's worst move yet.
But they didn't like the way 4Kids was doing it. They took it out of their hands, and 4Kids told the original cast that if they tried to voice act for the Pokemon series if they weren't getting any money from it, they would never have a job with 4Kids again.
At least that's what I heard.
