To this day it is still the best line up of bands ever in the history of Ozzfest and I had to miss it because I was 'too young'. There isn't much you can do about it. When I did make it to my first Ozzfest years later(this year accually) I realized at 12 or 13 I would have been too young and I understood why my parents said no. Alot of drugs, angry people pushing you around and naked women. You might really just be too young.

Leonelli WarriorShadow It might be that you are too young. I mean alot of concerts now days have a 18+ (maybe in america 21+ or i dont know) Age restriction... GRAWR!!?? Well. I never knew that. But then. Maybe its cause I barely go to concerts. This one day when I finally had the chance to go to a concert nearby. It was in Chinatown NY by the way. And like. My mom was even so freakishly worried for me then. And I grew really angry. And you know how you get angry you don't really care about your surroundings? Well. Um. heh heh. My friend decided to take me to this building closeby called The Elizabeth center. And it's on Elizabeth street dur. And I saw BILL CLINTON and black cars and everything. But like. I was angry! So my friend actually wanted to shake his hand and everything. And I was just like. "sure.. watever.." I shook his hand. Never took a freakin picture or requested signature. And we bought a puzzle at the center. And finally when I was calming down I then was like. The fudge! x0! x3! The summer of 2 yrs ago... damn...

I have to agree, maybe it really is because you are too young... Its true theres so many shows with age restrictions, mainly because the shows are held in bars, or because theres content not suitable for younger people... I mean, I sometimes am freaked out by stuff i see in shows i tend to myself!!
Anyways, parents usually are right on that, even though it might be frustrating while you are living it. Tell yourself that one day, you WILL be old enough to attend the concert, and then youll realise that maybe your parents were totaly right...

The problem with growing up is when you remember when your parent's said "You'll understand when you're older," and you finally do.

It just sucks though. When they try to teach you to act all grown up, and yet when you try to do a grown up thing, they tell you to act like a child? lol

Parents have a conflict of interest when it comes to children. They want their kids to behave well and act responsibly, but at the same time they want to keep them as children because they love them and don't want to have to let them go. Most parents have a great fear of the day when their kids are old enough to leave.
