**NOTE: I DO NOT WANT THIS TO TURN INTO A BIG FLAMEFEST! PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT BELIEFS AND IF YOU CAN'T ACCEPT THEM THEN KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! FLAMING SOMEONE BECAUSE OF THEIR BELIEFS IS IGNORANT AND CHILDISH! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!**
So, what are you guy's religious beliefs? Please, before you post make sure you know about the religion you practice don't just say you do it. x.x;
Me, I'm kind of agnostic but I have an interest in alot of different neo-pagan religions, especially Wicca. I believe that no matter what they believe, a person should follow their mind, their heart, and their gut. Their "inner God," if you will. But enough about my beliefs, what about you guys?

~ On a mountain he sits, not of gold but of sin ~
.: I'm Pagan. Not much to it, really. I know that half the people on the world have wrong ideas about Paganism, and I couldn't care less. I know what I believe in and I know what I practise, and if people think other stuff of it, then I'd rather laugh then try to defend myself. It's just misconceptions heart :.

Crazy as this sounds... I believe in everything. My family are catholic. so i go to church on sundays, i pray... i do however disagree with some christian beliefs. I also am Wiccan/Pagan, and have a small coven with some of my friends. I believe that there is one "Power" and humans cant possibly comprehend that power so we give it names. basically that all reigions are praying to the same power... and should thus forth stop fighting!

I have my own "take" if you will, on religion, I believe there is a power, and intellegent force of nature if you will, and that this force is the communal mind of all living things, plants being more intuned then animal because they use it to move freely, and thus a we grow we lose this connection by being rmoved from nature.

I guess I'dbe considered wiccan, with one exception.
I don't worship a god or a goddess.
I took the god and goddess and stripped them away, leaving only what they stood for, and that is what I base my religion upon.
I don't consider how I go about being wiccan as a religion, I think of it as a practice.

Believe it or not I consider myself to be a Christen, and the being gay is a sin thing I just don’t accept. God was always about love, and homosexual love is just one type of love that’s equal to all the rest.

This is a very complicated topic, but I will share my religion against the will of many people.
I am part of an old religion called Twilight. I will ask that no one bother looking up this because you will not find much about it or will find a game or something; that is how old it is. The general belief of life and death is under this concept: When a person dies their soul stays in a seperate plain and then divides to protect every person you've meet and loved. When the people your soul stays with dies then your soul gathers together and then you are born again into a new body. You do not always return to the world you were once in though. It is very difficult to explain certain things further...but any questions about this supject of life and death are ok to talk about...more detailed questions I would ask be sent to me in a PM. Thank you.

I really don't know if there is a name for what I believe in. sweatdrop If I had to say, then I'd go with "agnostic" though. 3nodding
My philosophy goes like this: There is a god. This god is the force/drive/will within all people that makes them follow the religion that they've chosen. All this really is, is faith within people.
I also strongly believe that all religions are the same with slight differences about only because various cultures in our world.
As far as heaven and hell goes, I don't believe in either. In a sense, my version of heaven is actually the Bhuddist take on Nirvana. When one is truly happy, then they've reached "heaven." =]

Agnostic... well, at least that's my views upon God... if He/She/It/They exists I'm not outright saying he doesn't exist... however, I am saying I'm so incredibly skeptical about their existance that He/She/etc. have no real meaning to my life.
However, by the same token, I've taken from religions on what I view as moral... not killing... that you can do what you want less of hurting another, etc...
And I believe in the universal being...
So yeah...

Lutheran... Oh, there is no part of the Bible that flat out says that homosexuality is a sin. And depending on the way you yourself translate what the bible says about it, can actually put a complete different line of thinking. (I think there is something like that in Leviticus<[i have no clue if i spelled that right...])

I'm lutheran too... but like I hate religion all together b/c of the way I was forced into believing something so I dont know.... stratched out... like in the way things happened in the bible and stuff. Some things YOU KNOW could never happen, but then there are some stuff that could happen and you just leave out there... never to really know the truth, the EXACT truth. Like I believe bits and pieces of events happened but not the whole thing. Kinda sounded like a child wrote the bible when I first got a gasp on it.
But the whole thing with "God said blah blah blah..." You know, if someone is hearing voices in their head that are telling them to do stuff... they need to see a doctor. gonk Having a few hour discussion with "something" and taking note of it all and listening to all it says to do is kinda odd for me. I dont know... I'm going off track. Hehe
But um, I dont really believe in any sort of religion. whee

I'm athiest. :] I was christian for 12 years in my life but after sitting down and considering it (Yes, I know 12 may be young, but I have considered religion (And seeked advise from counselling) and none of it, as much as I hate to use the term, "made sence.") I became athiest.
I'm not a closed minded athiest, and I don't expect I will remain one for the rest of my days as I still look up religion, inquire about it and hear peoples different views.
I don't think I could call myself agnostic, though, as I'm not sure if I DO beleive anything is out there, and the main thing that makes sense to me is Scientology, more or less, in the form of not having any god at all. This, however, does not put me into the catagory of you, yourself, are your own god. Quite frankly, I don't have enough self confidence to do that. xB
